I would love to take my kids to a water park this summer, but I need one that is small child friendly since my girls on only 4 and 18 months. Any suggestions are appreciated!

God Bless.

NRH2O has an infant/baby area and also a child area. Both have age apporiate "slides". In addition, you can bring the floats with the seats in them for the wavepool and lazy river or you can use the ones they provide...which are free. It has a website for more info....nrh20.com.

Depending on where you live, Bedford Splash by the Bedford Boys Ranch is perfect. They have a great kids area with plenty of things to keep them entertained and is the right size waterpark to handle two small kids.

You have to try the water parks in Lewisville!! They would be perfect for your little ones. I know there is one right behind Lewisville high school, and it is soooo cheap. They have a small lazy river, a few slides and spray toys, covered baby pools, and even some covered seating areas. We will be making the drive down there for sure! ~A.~

Hi A.,

There's a little pool in Lewisville, off College just east of 35. It's very kid friendly. They have little fountains and a very shallow pool. Mary posted a link to it. I've taken my 2 year old there and he had a lot of fun. And, I've found there are a lot more small children there than at the one next to the high school. There are usually older kids at that one, I think because of the slides.

Have fun!

SPLASH! in Bedford is great for little ones and is not expensive. It is on Forest Ridge just north of Hwy 183.

Hi A.,

Hawaiian Falls in The Colony is fairly small, yet good-sized. Not as huge as Hurricane Harbor and some others. I hear a lot of people talk about Sandy Lake as well.
