Please I Need a Good Weight Loss Story!
I have lost 9 pounds but I have been struggling with my weight my whole life? I feel like my goal of 50 pounds is never going to happen! I would love some weight loss tips and to actually hear from people who know or have lost weight themselves. I need some motivation and to know this can happen! Thank you.

Have you heard of sparkpeople.com? That website has been a blessing for me! You can track what you eat and how much you work out so it's easier to stay on target. There's also support groups and lots of info on what to do to lose weight. Hang in there! 9 lbs is a great weight loss! If you have access to weights walk around with a 9/10 lb dumbell & you'll know how much you've really lost! :) good luck!

I am 28 years old and have three kids. Here is my story....
I had my first child at 19, I took to heart the whole eating for two thing. Before I was pregnant I weighed 175lbs.(I was skin and bones...I'm a big girl) at my 6 week postparturm checkup I was 292lbs!!! I had no idea I had done that to myself. When My son was 7 months old I was pregnant again...and when my daughter was born I was still huge!!! at one point I maxed out on the scales at 306lbs!! and I wasn't even pregnant!!!
I worked out..dieted...had a tummy tuck...because it was a short cut(although it mad me feel better)
I was up to a size 22/24...a shadow of myself.
By the time I became pregnant with my 3rd child I had lost 20lbs or so just being a mom... then during that pregnancy I became very sick. I was in the hospital...nurses having to help me..snickering at me...it was horrible.
But my true turning point....
I realized I was the FAT person in my family!!!
I didn't want to be the FAT person in my family pictures...I am a big girl... but I was the fat girl...so I STOPPED driving!!
I needed to go to the store...I got out the stroller...had the kids hop on their bikes and hiked the few miles it took. It was amazing..my first walk..I could barley make it..I had to stop..then a few months later the stroller wheel broke with groceries..and I had to carry it all home on my back..no problem!! I used to not be able to walk through the Omaha Zoo..now my husband can't keep up..and I'm pushing a double stroller!!!
I have gotten down to 185lbs!!!! At 215lbs I started using weights and the rest of the weight just fell off!!!! I found a trainer that is AWESOME at PLC..he isn't there anymore...he is now at Madonna Practive..his name is Cole if anyone is interested...he really is great!!!
GOOD LUCK!!!
When your time comes to lose it...you'll know it....for me I just didn't want to be the fat one anymore!!!

Hi S.!
Callenetics, an AbLounger, and a Tony Little Gazelle are what works for me. I dropped two sizes in jeans in five weeks. I did the Callenetics in the morning (it's a stretching exercise that works your muscles from the inside out, it's VERY effective), a half hour of the Gazelle while I watched my favorite TV program, and got on the AbLounger while I fixed meals. Whenever there was down time during cooking, such as letting the water come to a boil, I would hop on the AbLounger and do a few minutes. That way, my tummy didn't get sore, but I was working my abs. I don't eat that much so "dieting" isn't really a problem. However, I lack energy to get off my duff to exercise. So I've learned that breakfast is a must. I used to skip it, but now I don't and I've learned that it actually gives me energy! Who knew?? LOL! Nine pounds??? That's GREAT!! That means you're doing something right!! So keep it up!! KUDOS to you!!! Just remember, you didn't put on the weight in one day, so it won't come off in a day either. I have to tell myself that all the time! LOL! Here's to you!!!
Just Me!
