Playgroups in or near Rockville, MD
I am a sahm to a 3 1/2 year old boy and 8 month old boy and am looking for playgroups for them in the Rockville, MD area. We do belong to a MOMS group but it is not very active and I would like to get my boys out with other children more often. The 3 1/2 year old is in preschool two days a week and during that time I would like to get my 8 month old together with another baby or two his age. I'm also up for a walking club or something. Are there any other sahms in the Rockville, MD area?

Hi! I don't know of a playgroup, per se, but I do know of a wonderful woman (Old Georgetown Road and Democracy) who has a family day care in her home (licensed, of course). She offers a loving and stimulating environment for young children. My child went there from 3 months to 4 years of age (full time) and then part time after school and I cannot say enough good things about her experience there.
