Planning a Babyshower

Hey Moms,

I am helping to plan a baby shower for a friend of mine. There will be about 30 plus people mostly family. Most of the guests don't have children of their own. I need some ideas for party favors. The colors are brown and pink. They are having a little girl in May. Does anyone know of any good party stores in Manhattan or websites where I can get ideas?

Hi! Planning a babyshower is so stressfull, and I may have the perfect solution for you. Two friends of mine went into business planning and decorating parties. They make cakes and favors and also deliver for free. The have reasonable prices and their stuff is absolutly beautiful and unique. You don't have to hire them for all but can pick and choose what you need them to do for you. Let me know if you are interested and I will forward you their information.

I saw on babies r us website I think "Bun in the oven" favors. The bozes were little stoves and the bun was a cinnabun looking candle. It was cute. I made a mental note for the next one of my friends that is pregnant cause i thought it was super cute.

favorwarehouse.com and cornerstorkbabygifts.com are two sites you may find useful. If you prefer to do the favors yourself, you may find Noby's on 29th Street between 6th and 7th avenue helpful or B& J Florist Supply - 103 W. 28th Street. These places sell items in bulk which allows you to very creative when putting your favors together.

I just went to a baby shower a couple of weeks ago and their favors were cookies...they were in the shape of onesies, baby bottles,bibs, etc. They were not small and cheesy. Also the were delicious.
