I was wondering if anyone had a good site that they order digital pictures from? I don't want to spend a lot but I don't want them to look cheap either.

What can I do next?

I've had good luck with Shutterfly. Usually the first time you order, you can get like 20 free prints so you can see how they look.

Try Shutterfly, they have tons of options and send out great deals every so often. That is what I use, I even ordered Calendars for Chrsitmas off of there, they were great!

I really like Walgreens and snapfish.com. But wherever you purchase your prints from, be sure they're using Fugi instead of Kodak...the difference it stark when compared side by side!

I go to Ritz or they are known as Wolf Camera and ProEx. Woodbury has a store called ProEx and I order them on-line and pick them up. Maybe you can get them shipped to you too. I don't know.

Snapfish messed up my orders three times so poor quality control. They did make good on the mess up but going through it multiple times was a turn off.

Target and Walmart were not of the quality I wanted. Too dark at Tarket and too light and washed out at Walmart.

You might also want to check out pcmag.com which may give pros and cons of photo developing. I used to go to Imagestation but they shut down. They rated really well in the magazine.

I use Walgreens.com and they always turn out great. You can either pick them up or they will mail them to you. And at most locations if you want to pick them up they can be ready the same day.

Hi S.,

Can you download your digital photos on your computer?

If you can, that is the best way to order digital photos. That way you can select the photos you want instead of going through all that at the photo shop. We always do it this way and we always use Walgreens. I can selcet which ones I want, then I can choose the size, if I want 1 or 2. It's great!

We have never had a problem yet.

Good luck.

I have used Shutterfly for years and I love it. The picture quality has always been great (a friend switched to Shutterfly also after a different conpany sent her pictures all scratched up). Their photo books and calendars have made great gifts for grandparents also.

If you have family out of town you can order pictures and have them mailed directly to the different addresses.

Hi S.!

I use Shutterfly. I LOVE IT.. you can pick up at Target or they will ship them to you. It is rather inexpensive and you can also edit your photos (get rid red eye, add borders), order gifts such as mugs with your childrens faces on it for the grandparents, photo albums, christmas cards, etc.. I could rave on and on...

My uncle is a freelance photographer and he recommended pephoto.com to me. They are the best priced and the pictures are very good quality. I really like them. I like snapfish and shutterfly for projects like photo books, but pephoto for just prints.

I use www.ofoto.com and they always turn out great. It is a kodak site and it is free to join. I also have ordered many gifts off the site....coffee mugs with grandkids pics on them make wonderful presents for grandparents. They are quick and affordable. Good Luck!!!

I use Walgreens because they are FAST and are located EVERYWHERE. They also e-mail you when your order is ready to pick-up. (Often, I'm not even dressed and my order is ready!)

They offer free shipping on 100+ pictures. I have never used that feature because my Walgreen's is so close and I can't WAIT to see the pictures.

They ALWAYS have a code for free ones. I check the Sunday ad or their website for the codes. I always wait until AFTER a major holiday to order mine since that's when they have the BEST codes.

I use Snapfish. I discovered them when Yahoo shut down their photo album section and I only wanted an online photo album so family members could go on and check the lastest photos of the kids. I checked into them all and loved Snapfish. A lot of the other ones limit how many pictures you can upload a month. Snapfish is an HP company. They are such a big company that they have a lot of extras that others do not. Their selections of store items is great also. They have really neat posters, collages, and full books you can make. I love that they are connected with Walgreens. That way you can have the pictures shipped or you can go pick them up at the store right away. Here are some links if you want to check it out.

I order all my photos from Costco online (costco.com). $.17/print, and free shipping. They always turn out nice, and there are lots of options from sizes and cropping, to different products (like photo calendars, cards, etc.). Their online catalogue system is great, too, for organizing photos.

I love taking pictures. If I do a lot of the same thing and can't really choose one I go to a Kodak machine and put on 2, 4, or 9 pictures on one 4x6 print. 4 prints on a 4x6 can save a ton and I can stick them in my wallet.

I recommend Mpix.com 100%. I am a professional photographer and I use them quite frequently. Anyone can use them, they have great customer service and their quality CAN NOT be met.
Prices are very reasonable!
I would never take my pictures to Walgreens or Walmart. They have a reputation for bad color correcting. Places like Snapfish, Shutterfly, Costo, Target, Ritz, are ok, but you can not compare the quality to Mpix. Always get your photos in Matte with Lustre coating. I promise you will see a major difference and will NEVER use another lab again.
