My niece takes piano lessons at a place above Pam East/West Music and Dance. She takes both dance and piano at the same place. They are located off Rainbow Drive on the East side of DeAnza behind Calabazas Park. She loves it. Here is the contact information.

Music Village in San Jose is a good idea. You could also look at the Music Teachers Association of CA's website (www.mtac.org) and find the branch in San Jose, then contact their president for ideas. FYI, there are very, very few teachers who travel to students' homes these days; most have very well-equipped studios that they work from. If you want someone to come to your house, be prepared to pay a hefty premium for their gas and driving time. I am a piano instructor myself and have a studio at home; I love my job and love working with kids. Wish I could teach your son for you but I'm in Boulder Creek and that might be too far for you to drive! I do know someone in Los Gatos; she's a friend of mine and excellent with kids. Please contact me through my website (www.pianodiva.net) and I'll get you my friend's contact info. Good luck!

Try contacting Music Village on Union Avenue. They may have a resource for you. You might also contact any major piano store. My former in-laws found their piano teacher through the place they purchased their piano. Music Village deals mostly with school age chilren's needs, so I would start there.
Good Luck!
