I have just started up my own photography buisness, and I was wondering if anybody had any cool location spots to take photos at? I have a handful of location spots but I am always looking for new creative locations... its a childrens photography so I am looking for something kid friendly!thanks:)

Avenue of the Fountains in Fountain Hills has a number of small rock/water features and trees that looked great in our engagement photos.
Hi! I am not sure where you live, but in Scottsdale, right by the Library and the Civic Center is a beautiful spot! Basic cross streets are Indian School and Drinkwater. Have fun!

The Islands in Gilbert have some neat bridges that are used a lot for pictures. One year we went to Goldfield Ghost Town (I think that is the name)just East of Apache Junction and the pictures were fantastic.

I know that there are some nice fountains etc. out at Las Sendas (sp?) in East Mesa.
I often see people taking pictures at the water feature at the northern entrance to The Springs subdivision. It is a small, rocky waterfall at the entrance off of Chandler Blvd. just west of Cooper. Take the first left after the Blockbuster on the SW corner of Cooper and Chandler. I hope that helps! :-)
We took some really neat pictures at the Mesa Arts Center
I got married 6 years ago at Stonebridge manor in Mesa. They let us take our announcement pictures on their property because we were having our wedding there but it would be worth asking if they would let you use it. They have beautiful gardens and landscaping so the pics were amazing! You may also want to ask them if you can leave your cards for people who need a photographer. They did have that stuff when I was there but it was a while ago... Thought it was worth mentioning! Good luck!
My friend has a photography business and she has taken some awesome pictures by Joe's BBQ in dowtown Gilbert. There's a really neat fence there that looks really great in pics.
Joe's Farm Grill in Agritopia in Gilbert. The cross streets are Higley and Ray. It is west of Higley and on the southside of Ray. Green grass, HUGE trees, picket fences and lovely walkways!
Downtown Mesa or Chandler. The Mesa Arts area has really trendy and contemporary art structures, walls and grass landscaping. I know of a photographer that takes pictures at a location near South Mountain as well.
