Photographer for Outdoor Family Photos

Hey ladies! I'm looking for a photographer around the Erie/Lafayette/Broomfield area. Would like to do some outdoor photographs...any suggestions? I've looked online and contacted a few. The ones I've found are fairly expensive. (I have a tough time paying for a several hour session when I know that with my 3 year old and 5 month old we will only be able to shoot for an hour...tops! :) ) I know there are talented moms and dads out there that might do something like this as a hobby or families that have had senior pictures done and were very happy. Thanks!

What can I do next?

I have a friend who is a great photographer of people. She also has a young son, so she understands the limitations of young children. She lives in Greeley, but I think she would be willing to come down to this area for a shoot. You may contact me for more information if you are interested.

Hi there,
check out rebeccabonnerphotography.com. Rebecca is fabulous! I'm not sure how much she charges, but she will do a great job for you.

It is a hobby of mine and I have done photos for friends and family and I would volunteer, but I'm still shooting film. I haven't spent the money on digital SLR---yet.

Good luck!

Make the Moment Last photography in Erie is the best I've found. I changed photographers for my kids after I found her! She is awesome w/kids, having 2 herself, and really gets great, beautiful shots of them in a quick time frame (not that she rushes you at all, but like you said, you gotta get the little ones done in an hour, or else they make you be done anyway!). The photographer's name is Megan Pisha, and her website is www.makethemomentlast.com. She offers several options of packages or single prints, and also these great hard cover books that you can have all the photos put into--which is great for me, because I find I love more of the photos than I am able to buy in prints/for framing. GOod luck with whomever you choose, but I do REALLY highly recommend Megan. She will give you some cherished memories...
Have fun!

We have used Julie Harris at www.julieharrisphotography.com for 3 years now and planning to have her come back again in November. She charges a flat fee and comes out to the house (or park, etc.) and spends about an hour or so. Then, you get all of the photos (she takes a ton) digitally so that you can do whatever you want with them. We use the pictures for our holiday cards, calendars and Christmas gifts for family. The pictures are amazing! She is so talented. My kids are 3 and 1 and she did a great job getting wonderful shots of them when they were infants.

Hi S.,
I highly recommend Dorian Tronick Photography ###-###-####. You can google to see samples of her work. She did my daughter's senior pictures, all outside, and we had a terrible time picking one we liked because they were all SO good. She was very easy to work with. Reasonable pricing and for as many times as you get photos taken, really, it is worth it.
I hope this helps.
