Photographer for Maternity Photos in Wichita Falls Area
I'd like to have some "belly shots" of myself & my family, but I don't want to spend a ton on studio time and portraits. Any suggestions on a photographer or studio? I'd be willing to try someone who is just beginning as a photographer, and needs advertising/references.
So What Happened?™
I went with Jamie of Deerinwater Designs (www.deerinwaterdesigns.com). She was great- very personable and artistic, and reasonably priced. My family had a wonderful experience, and we have some great photos that will be a wonderful memory for years to come. Thank you for all of your responses.

Hands down, one of the best is Torin. He has a studio on Tenth and Van Buren (on the Tenth side) ###-###-####. He has been the photog at Times Record News for ... a long time *lol* but he also does WONDERFUL portraits. At least give him a call and go see a few of his shots. Good luck and congrats.

I have found a WONDERFUL photographer here in WF. She used to have a studio, but she let it go when she got too busy with her son's high school activities. Now that he's graduated, she is getting back into photography again. And she is REALLY great - especially with kids. Her name is Jennifer Awtry, and you can call her at ###-###-#### (the State Farm office where she works right now). You can tell her that B. Chase referred you. Good luck!

JCPenney's does a reasonably good job.
Dixie always does a good job, but she will take your arm and half a leg in fees.

Mickie Benoit is awesome! She has a studio off of Midwestern and Taft in the strip shopping center. SHe if a Mom, fun and does amazing work. Everything I have seen of hers is so very professional and well done. I know preschools also use her because she is great at capturing the "real personality" of the child. You will not be disappointed!
We had dance photos from one of the above recommended photographers and would never recommend or purchase again from this photographer.
