Photgraphy Classes - Northville,MI

Does anyone have any experience or know of any photography classes in the area? I want something a little more in depth, pertaining to dslr's (not point and shoot type classes). I would love to find a pro that I could mentor with as well!

Check with N'ville Parks and Rec to see if they have the kind of class you're looking for. Otherwise I'd check around directly with Photographers and see what they can suggest. Also you might want to check with, for instance, some of the surrounding community colleges, like Schoolcraft or Washtenaw and check out their classes to see if they offer anything.

I believe Schoolcraft college offers classes with Monte Nagler- and you can also check his website www.montenagler.com He does seminars as well as 2-3 day group shoots. Feel free to tell him I referred you- J. Gallo.

Washtenaw Community College has an excellent photography program; I should know, it's dominated my husband's life since my son was almost a year old.

Hi M..

Welcome to the brrrr....beautiful north! Wait until spring. Everyone is so happy!

I am a professional photographer. I took classes at a community college and LOVED it (I already had 2 degrees in Psychology and Film and caught the photo bug later). If you can do it, with your little ones, try that. Otherwise a community ed course may be easier - less of a commitment. And then, just go out and do it! You'll learn by doing. With digital, you won't be wasting a bunch of money in processing.
Sometimes I need an assistant - if you are interested in getting some experience with children and weddings, feel free to contact me. My website is www.amckenziephoto.com I hope you grow to love it here!
