Personalized Gifts Business Going to Next Level
Okay...so I have my own personalized gift business and absolutely know this is what I'm supposed to be doing; however, I need some direction on how to grow the business. This business kinda happened overnight. I attended a birthday party and baby shower in one weekend...(made the personalized gifts myself) and started getting orders. January is going a little slower - not sure because of Christmas being last month... but want your advice on getting a jumpstart (I do have a website).

If you are in Sales and self- employed, you cannot live without LEADS. My husband and I have been self employed in sales for 20 years. We use three types of leads, not to mention all the repeat customers and their referrals to us. 1. Internet leads. 2. Mail leads. 3. Telemarketed leads.
If you can work an average of 15 to 20 leads per week. you will be doing great and at least once a year, make contact in some way with your prior customers.

You could ask customers to give you referrals of friends and family they think may be interested in what you offer. Then you could send a personalized letter to them mentioning the person who referred them. As an incentive, you could offer discounts to customers based on the referrals they give you.
