Period Pimple?!

I have been trying to get pregnant and everytime I get my "period pimple" before my period actually comes I feel like that is an indicator that I am not pregnant. Does anyone know if there is any correlation between the two? I always feel really disappointed when I see that darn pimple...and I just got one today. I am supposed to be ovulating on saturday so I am not sure, if I already got a possible period pimple, if that means that I can't conceive this month. All of this is so confusing because a lot of times the period symptoms are like pregnancy symptoms. Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

What can I do next?

My husband gets a "period pimple" every single month in the same spot. I think it's safe to say there is no correlation. ;-)

Hi CK,
I would think if you get the pimple *before* you ovulate, it has nothing to do with anything.

When I did get pregnant, I had the worst pimples ever for my entire first trimester, Both Times!

Drink plenty of water, take your vitamins, and have fun chasing your hubby around :)

are you tracking your ovulation? I was surprised that mine happens literally 2 days after my period. Yours may be happening a day or two before your period. I have two girls, both conceived when we had sex the day after my period ended.

my skin always got worse when i was getting my period.. my skin was geting significantly worse over a few weeks and i realized i had missed my period turns out i was pregnant and i will tell u that it continuted to get worse and eventually leveled off at pretty bad.. i got proactive its the only thing i triedd that worked.. so getting pimples doesnt necessarily mean ur getting your period because for me it was worse because i was pregnant .. its hormone thing

Outbreaks are usually related to hormones. I get outbreaks before my period, and had really bad outbreaks at the beginning of my pregnancies, especially the second and third. I don't think you should put too much stock in that theory.

Seriously, just one?!! It's hormonal - if it makes you feel better, my first few months of pregnancy were all about throwing up and acne. You could be pregnant, by why not grab a funny movie, your hubby and keep working on it, just in case? ;) Good luck!
