Hi.
I am 14 weeks pregnant with twins. At 10 weeks I was diagnosed with subchorionic hemorrhage. I like our OB, but would like to have a 2nd opinion with a specialist as I am a bit worried since hemorrhage is still there. I have no idea where to go and would rather not pick a Dr out of a phone book. Any input would be much appreciated!
Thank You!!!

Minnesota Perinatal Physicians specializes in high risk, multiple pregnancies. They are great. You won't have one physician but rather will see a team. Some doctors I liked better than others but all made me feel confident and assured that I was getting great treatment. I transferred there from my regular ob/gyn when I had preterm contractions at 22 weeks and landed at Abbott Northwestern.

They have several clinics, I went to the one in Edina by Southdale. A MN Perinatal doctor delivered by c-section my two boys at 34 weeks, 2 days when I developed pre-eclampsyia (sp?).

If you haven't aready, I would highly recommend joining a multiples group (I am with the Minnesota Valley Mothers of Multiples group at http://www.mvmom.org but there are others.) They have a great online forum for questions/answers and support groups for moms on bedrest, kids in NICU, etc. They even have a preemie closet where you can "borrow" clothes if the kids come early. Also a big sale twice a year.

My thoughts are with you. It's a scary but exciting time. Good luck and best wishes!

I had a baby at 30 weeks and my pregnancy was monitored by Minnesota perinatal Physicians for several months before my son was born. Some of the Dr.s are great, but there is one in particular to avoid at all costs! Dr Gaziano is the best! also Dr. wagner and Dr.Fairbanks. DO NOT reccommend Dr.William Block. I am pregnant again and will be seeking care through Uof M Fairview/Amplatz if we need a NICU. Apprehensive to go back to MPP! Good luck

Minnesota Perinatal Physicians-a agree with Angela,I've seen them all during my pregnancy that started with triplets. They probably will not let you to choose your primary doctor every time, but you can try to request .The ones I'd recommend:Ahanya, Calvin,Feltowich(wonderful!!!),Ladella,Lunch Salomon(kinda weird guy,but excellent doctor). Will not recommend-Diana Danilenko(!),William Block.
This is place to go ,they'll see you even every day if you have a slightest concern, they have the latest equipment and even all the nurses do u/s.Good luck.
If you'll see nurse Gail tell her we still love her!

I'm not certain about location and/or whether they have specialists per se, but I love John Haugen & Associates. I see them downtown, but I think they have another location. I've seen several doctors there and been EXTREMELY pleased.

It is not in Edina or St. Paul, but I saw Dr. Percy at Fairview Women's Clinic across from Fairview University Hospital. I have seen several of the OBs there and they were all great, and there are many specialty clinics in the same complex. When my baby had an irregular heartbeat, they referred me to the Fetal Medical specialists to see a fetal cardiologist, which really helped my peace of mind.
