Pen Mark Removal
Hi Moms! I just found ink marks on my brand new leather bag. Any suggestions how to remove?
Thanks in advance! D.

I'm with the make up remover, nail polish remover works great for scuffs on shoes, pen on walls, etc.. I would NOT use the remover on the leather though.

As weird as this may sound, eye makeup remover. The oily kind. I use my MaryKay eye makeup remover to get tons of stuff off. Anything sticky on our laminate floors, gunk off my leather jacket, etc. It's scary that what we use to remove makeup can remove so much stuff from everything else. Good luck.

Many people swear by using such agents as perfume and hairspray to remove ink from leather. My sister used Windsong perfume on pen marks on her leather furniture and it came right off. Other people swear by the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.

Melaleuca has a product called Sol-u-mel that removes everything...permanent marker, paint, nail polish, EVERYTHING. I swear by it.

If all else fails, go to Home Depot or Walmart and get a product called Goof Off- in the paint section. This takes ink off of leather. Good luck!
