You could try something like Aquaphor and then socks over to help re-hydrate/heal the skin?

Good luck.

Hi M. - their feet may just be really dry. Try putting lotion on their feet before bed every night and putting them in socks. If that doesnt help or their feet start to feel itchy, they could have a fungal infection. OTC Lotrimin, etc. is okay to use topically.

Hello M.! My kids toes peel because their skin is dry. I use extra virgin coconut oil on their toes, then cover with socks at night. Works great! No more peeling skin!

Consult with a doctor and determin it is not psoriasis or eczema first. My daughter started with “peeling hands and feet “ when she was very young..she is now 26 and still has the symptoms. It is always more pronounced in the winter with the dry air and not getting the sunlight. If it is psoriasis sunlamp treatments will help or as it becomes warmer having their toes wiggling in the sun is even better.

Bag Balm is a VERY good choice. It is called bag balm because farmers’ wives used it on their hand when they milked the cows or goats..thus the “bag” in the name. I know, I know….I felt the same way 20 some years ago when that was first suggested to me..Bag What!?

Put it on heavy after a bath with socks. But go see your doctor if it persists it might be more than just dry skin.

Psoriasis or eczema is not just dry skin. Both are conditions passed down through families. Does anyone in your family have these conditions, they might just say they have really dry skin. Or does anyone have "ridged" finger nails...especially the thumb?

It might is not really dry skin but the skin on hyper drive and producing more skin cells than needed, thus the look of dry skin or like dry glue on the body part (feet, hands). It can get bad and flare up. So don’t just go with dry skin. Google and do some research…in the mean time Bag Balm works even if it is just dry skin. Good luck.

My son had peely feet one year, here's what I did.
Get some "Bag Balm" comes in a square tin, can get it almost anywhere. At night, slather their feet in it, and put some socks on and let them sleep that way. My sons was gone in 2 nights.

Is it the tip of their toes? If so, sounds like their shoes are too small. They curl their toes under to make room and that makes the skin peel. Could also be their socks are too small if not the shoes. If it happens only in Winter it could be because they are barefoot or wear sandals in the Summer so shoe size doesn't affect their toes then.

My kid's feet were peeling last week? two weeks ago? something like that, after I let him play in a puddle (we live in Florida so it was a warm puddle) and didn't do a good enough job drying off his feet. Oops. I've just been making sure that I dry his feet really well and it's cleared up.

That happened to my son--make sure their feet are really dry before they get jammies on and use a good moisturizer like Aveeno. Are they wearing sleep n play through the day or just at night?

Have they been on antibiotics?? When mine are on antibiotics especially amoxicilian there hands and feet peel. Its like a reaction when they finish the meds. My daughter tis past winter had her hands peel bu not her feet. They just peeled and shes 5. SO maybe theyjustsheeding new skin pu moisturizer on them.
