Sounds like strep. My son got it all the time. sometimes peeling hands and feet were his only symptom. Take her to her Dr right away. You really don't want to mess with that.

The few times I personally have had this problem I had recently used a new product (lotion, hair product, etc.). Have you (or her) put anything new on her skin? I would call the pediatrician's office for their take on the matter. I am pretty certain can be done at this point but maybe they will have better advice/more insight. I always had to wait out the peeling skin and watch more closely what products I was using. Good luck.

Hi - Is she in a day care or is she exposed to any cleaning chemicals? This happened with my son and to our horror we found out they were using paint remover on the kids after art/ paint projects so they were getting a mild chemical burn and that is what was causing the peeling! Needless to say, we have sinced switched providers ... just thought you should know.
