Pediatrician Referrals...

I know of Dr. Jean Walsh and would recommend her. My friend used to work at her office.

I believe Jean Walsh is a general Practioner ( I go to her) and I like her. I just started to go to her about 9mos ago. she is treating me for an under active thyroid. It seems pretty easy to get to see her and she seems to have a good bed side manner. One downfall, no lab on premises, so you have to go to Quest Labs to get any lab work done and it takes up to 2 weeks for the doctor to get your results back to you.

I take my daughter (3 y/o) to Dupage medical group in Naperville (Dr. Judith Froehlich is her main doc) there is both a naperville and Downers grove location. Dr. Froehlich was my doc when I was little. I just turned 30. My experience is that they are very nice.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Froelich! She is very professional and extremely punctual...don't be late! Her office in DG is next to Good Sam but there is also an office on Odgen in Naperville between Washington and Naperville Road. All of the Doctors in the practice are great and I have never had a bad experience with any of them.

i also use dupage med group out of good sam with judith froelich. and ditto on everything that barb said on a previous message. when i started going to them my son was younger and i was able to see most of docs in practice and feel each of them out. i try to see the same one most of the time now so my son can be more familiar and who to expect to see. but if it was an emergency, i'd feel comfortable with any of them. good luck.

I had very bad experiences Judith Froelich and most of the other doctors at her practice. They always rushed us and did NOT have good bedside manners...the nurses were ok but the doctors handled my daughter very roughly and I always felt like they didn't have time for us...

I would really advise against this practice.

PS. If your insurance allows you to go to DuPage Pediatrics in Darien, I highly recommend them...especially Dr. Davis.

I adore Jennifer Hall at Dupage Pediatrics in Darien. She's young and VERY personable and great with the kids. We have seen the other docs in that practice as well and they all are very good. She's just our favorite! :) Email me if you have any specific questions...

The Downers Grove doctor, Dr. Froelich, is the doctor who saw my son when he was first born. She seemed nice but not wonderful. He had some feeding issues the first week of his life so we went to her practice who has like 6 or 7 other doctors and couldn't get an appointment with her. We saw another doctor there and he was HORRIBLE! Acted like he didn't have the time, was rough with our baby and was not personable at all. Ended up seeing Dr. Froelich a week later and she was kind of the same...not personable, not kid friendly. I would recommend staying away from her and her practice. I now see Dr. Michael Reicherts in Naperville off of Rt. 59 and 103rd St. I used to live in Woodridge and you could get there by taking 75th St. west to Rt. 59. Then go south on Rt 59 to 103rd and he's right there. Check with your insurance on him. He is great! Hope I helped a little. A.

S., we use Judith Froelich from Dupage Pediatrics. They have also in the same practice, Dr Murphy, Grudzalski, Steinken, Boettcher, and Pollack. My daughters primry care is Froelich, but anyone is great. I have had a personal issue with Pollack but thats a personality conflict. They are great in responding in emergencies and getting my daughter in at a moments notice. They are located in the north pavilion of Good Sam Hospital. The nursing staff there is top notch as well. They seem to take their time with us, and never feel bothered by any questions. I just actually got off the phone with the nurse today on a medical issue with my daughter. If you have anymore Q's, I think u are on Dupage Moms but you can reach me on there as well!

I live in Bolingbrook. My son actually goes to Dr. Gerald Lofthouse and I love him. Dr. Shih and Dr. Wilk are in the same practice. I would recommend either of the three to anyone.
