Pediatrician Needed in the Bradenton Area

I recently moved to Bradenton and I am looking for a good Pediatrician. I read before on Mamasource about a few doctors, but the only name that comes to my head right now is Dr. White. I thought I saved the posts to my files, but I must have accidentally deleted it. If anyone has any recommendations, I would appreciate it. I hope everyone is having a Happy and Healthy New Year!

What can I do next?

Depending on the area that you are in, I use Dr Miguel Alvarez. He is affiliated with Lakewood Ranch Medical Center and is located in the medical office beside the hospital. If you need more info or are interested, please let me know.

We use Frederico Frias, he is located on State Road 70 by Peridia. ####-###-####, we have been with him a little over 1 1/2 years and love him and the staff.

YES, Dr. White and Dr. Lopez, have been together for several years, they used to practice at Healthcare America, (before they went downhill) I wouldn't take my dog there now. But Dr. Lopez & White went into business for themselves, called......Pediatric Partners, they are out SR 64 E in Bradenton.
I had them come to check my daughter at the hospital when she was born and she will be 9 this year and she LOVES them. THEY are the absolute best!!! I have 100% faith in them, but they may have a waiting list....??? My daughter was sick ALOT when she was younger, not so bad now, but lots of visits to them and a few times they met me at night and on Sunday at their office to treat her! If I can help you get in I would be glad to, they know me VERY well!!! The receptionist is Janette and she is awesome too. If you would like to call me for more info, feel free. ###-###-####.
GOOD LUCK...hope you get in!

I also take my son to Dr. Taylor. She is wonderful as are all the drs. and nurses that I have worked with there.

Hi J.. My niece goes to Dr White and they LOVE him. He found a hole in her heart when she was a week old, so he comes highly recommended. HOwever, I don't know that he is accepitng new patients, except newborns, we weren't able to get in, but it's always worth a try.

My daughter sees Dr Taylor at Giangreco, Scarano, and Taylor's office. They are right on 26th ST West. We love Dr Taylor. They are very quick about making appts, and we never even have to wait in the waiting room. The nurses return phone calls right away, everything. I don't really care for Dr Catherine there, and have only seen Dr Joe and Dr Alfredo once each, but we LOVE Dr Taylor. I also feel like she really knows my daughter when we come in. Good luck

I use Dr. Patricia Blanco, I like her! SHe is on university and I-75

I take my 17 month old daughter to Dr. Cocco. He is part of the Sarasota Memorial Hospital Group. The office is located at Honore and University Parkway. ###-###-####. He is very nice and takes all the time you need to answer questions and not rush your child. We really like him.

We really like Dr, Catherine Giangreco. She is located west of 41 on 27th St--closer to 53rd Ave than Manatee Ave (if you get what I mean). She is part of Giangreco, Giangreco (her husband) Scarano and Taylor.
She has been very thorough and has also recommended great specialists for our daughters (endocrinologists, eye specialists, psychologists). She seems to look more at "the whole picture" whedn treating a child, not just individual symptopms, which was perfect for us.
