Pediatrician for Ultra-sensitive Doctor-phobe

Hi, all -- My 4 year old is seriously doctor-phobic, as well as high-maintenance/sensitive to the point of having a clinical disorder. We need a pediatrician, preferably female, in Naperville -- we're right in the middle. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What can I do next?

Try Dr. Kalis at Millineum Pediatric in Naperville at Naper and 95th. She is younger and very nice, soft spoken could be a good fit.

We go to Children's Health Partners on 95th and Book. There are 4 woman docs at the practice. My kids (and I) like them all. They are friendly and we never feel rushed. I NEVER have to wait in the waiting room or exam room for hours. I think my longest wait there has been 15 minutes. The nurses are also great. I could go on and on, about how much I love this practice. I live in Lockport and drive 45 minutes to get there. I think that says it all!

I am not sure if they are taking new patients, but if you explain the special circumstances, they might make an exception.

doctor Matthews is really good and I love her. She is not my daughters doctor but that is because she has special needs.( Cerebral Palsy) Is is though the Glen Ellyn clinic. The # is ###-###-####. They have an office by the 24 hour walgreens on raymond and ogden. Good luck.

My brother-in-law is a Pediatrician with this group. I have had wonderful experiences with the Drs here (most of the time they don't make the connection were are related- so no special treatment!) There are many Drs in the practice, but have gone to Dr. Cole the most often. She is really kind.
