I love the 2 doctors in this practice! They are very friendly and straight forward. My children like going to "visit" them and they always make me feel comfortable no matter what I may be concerned about. They have never made me second guess if my children are okay or getting better, they have a very nice office space, staff is great...we couldn't be happier with our pediatricians! Good Luck!

I have the perfect peds for you, they are Children's Medical Group, Dr. Erin O'Brien & Dr. Jason Tjaden. They are located on Pyott Rd. in Lake in the Hills. They are younger peds, Dr. O'Brien has 3 children and they are very hands on and down to earth. Hope this helps.

I can't personally help you with drs in Algonquin as I go to a ped in Barrington next to Good Shepherd. But I know a bunch of moms in Mom-2-Mom use Children & Teens off of Route 31 and love it there.

HI I use Children and Teens they are right off of 31 south of 62. I have seen all of the doctors in the practice. I personally love Dr. Michael Fell. I chose him because my daughter was a preemie and he had a back gound in working with preemies and sick children at Lutheran General.

We use Children and Teens Medical Center. They are located in Algonquin off of Algonquin Rd and 31. I would recommend Dr. Megahed. Dont let the name scare you. When I read his name I thought it was going to be an indian who wasnt going to speak english well and not be able to understand me. Boy was I wrong! He is completly American. He is a very compastionate, friendly, through, honest, great with kids, doctor.
Two years ago I lost my son at one year old. He died in his sleep and they have yet to determine why. The coroner ruled it unknown reason. They believe it was SIDS. Only because of his age (SIDS is between the ages of 0-1)they are calling it SUDC. Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood. I didnt even know something like that exsisted. SUDC can happen to children between 1 and 14. After my son passed we moved to Algonquin and I found another doctor for my 4 year old daughter at the time. At this time I was insistant to find a doctor that was going to be able to be through and spend time explaining things to me. I wanted him to be able to understand the worry and concern I had for my daughter since I hsve no answer of why my son died. I talked to Dr. Megahed and was understanding and compassionate. Weve gone to him now for about 2 years. We now have another daughter and he has been wonderful with the both of them and myself as well. I completly recommend him. Their number is ###-###-####. I am a nurse at a local hospital on the Mother Baby floor and I know several pediatricians in the area. I saw that someone recommended Dr. Megahead from Childrens and Teens. He is wonderful and I would definitley recommend him to someone. Associates in Pediatrics are another group that is located in Elgin right on Randall and 90. Some of the doctors are Dr. Beth Clingan, Dr. Michael Sheade, and Dr. Wynn Sheade. They are all very good.

Childrens and Teens - My girls and I really like doctor Megahead but have not been dissatisfied with any that we have seen there. One thing that is unique to them is you don't have to wait a long time to be seen, our old office was a two hour wait at times. I think they do a great job of keeping on schedule. There is a sign up in the check in area that says "Running late? we will be happy to reschedule your appointment."

Also, when you check in you either go to the waiting room on the left if you are there for regular appointment, or to the right side waiting room if you are sick!

Finally, Dr Megahead really interacts with my kids. He talks to them about wearing bike helmets, their seat belts and eating healthier.

Dr. Arsenio & his wife Dr. Jennifer Atadero share an office on Huntington (near Randall Rd). They are both terrific doctors! I believe, she is primarily a pediatrician, but they both care for entire families. They have taken care of us for about ten years. Both are eager to resolve an immediate problem, but also do not hesitate to take or order further test, when required. I know they work with Sherman Hospital and possibly others. I second the motion of Children and Teens, we see Dr. Amir Megahead and absolutely love him. My son actually enjoys going to see him, because he entertains him and makes himself feel like family.
