Pediatric Dentist in North Dallas Area

My kids are 10 and 12 and I have been taking them to Dr. Tamela Gough (Children's Dentistry) since they were about 3. Everything is set up just for kids and the staff is great. My kids love to go. Here is a link where you can check them out:

Dr. Tipton Asher on West 15 st/Coit by Medical Center of Plano is fantasstic. He has a great staff. My 13 yr old has seen him since she was 2.

You don't have to worry about insurance. He does not participate. You pay the bill and file. I have always been reimbursed by my insurance company for almost if not all of the full amount.

Dr. Robert Morgan. He has an office just south of Campbell and Collin. He has several children of his own. (I don't have his number close, but you can easily find it in the phone book.

I take my 3 1/2 year old to Jeffrey Jaynes. He is wonderful and was recommended to us by my dentist. He is located at Coit and Spring Creek in Plano.

Dr. Ray Hamby is absolutely wonderful! He is kind, gentle, and my daughter (4) just loves him. His staff is awesome too. He is located in the Chase Tower building at Belt Line and Central in North Richardson. His number is ###-###-####. Good luck!

Our family dentist is Mark Denny. His office is located at Coit and Arapaho. I just recently took my 3 year old daughter to see him and everyone in the office was excellent with her. I was truly impressed as I had been hesitant to go to a dentist that did not specialize in kids....I was picturing a little chair etc....but my daughter did well...they showed her how everything would work, explained it all to her...she got a little nervous and they just waited for her to feel comfortable..it was excellent (and they gave her a sticker and a toy from a special toy chest at the end which she loved) anyway, I 150% recommend Mark Denny and his office.

Dr. Tommy Shulz and Dr. Watson (partners) in Richardson (Alma and Renner). ###-###-####. They're phenomenal!!!

We love Dr. Bob Morgan ###-###-####). I don't have his street address in front of me, but he's located on Municipal Drive in NW Richardson, behind the Richardson Regional Medical Center (west of 75 & just south of Campbell Rd). His environment, staff, and approach make my girls (ages 5 & 8) comfortable (he makes balloon animals for each of his patients...himself!), and he is great with parents, too. He is consistently rated one of Dallas' Best dentists by D Magazine. Good luck with your search!

If you must change dentists....Dr. Ray Hamby, DDS in Richardson would be my choice.
I understand that economics is a factor...but I don't want an insurance company limiting my freedom of choice. Freedom of choice (not just from their list) is a very important freedom that should not be taken lightly.

I also live in Richardson, but I drive to Allen to take my kids to the dentist. We go to Dr. Lisi at Kids Pediatric Dentistry. She is wonderful and the staff is wonderful. I really wanted a dentist that was specifically for kids so my kids would not be scared to go to the dentist. My 3 year old had to have 6..yes 6...cavities filled and we chose to have him go under general anesthesia. Dr. Lisi was so good with him and called us at home to keep checking on him after the procedure. I highly recommend the drive to Allen to go to this dentist.

Dr. Lisi in Allen is fantastic and I would not hesitate to recommend her.

I have a WONDERFUL dentist, Dr. Fred Thompson who is currently in Mesquite, but they are moving their offices to Coit and George Bush (next to Central Market) on March 1. They are wonderful, my 7 year old loves them. They aren't specifically pediatric, but they are wonderful and caring. Southwest Dental Associates.

A great pediatric dentist at Park/Tollway is Dr. Shannon Coyle at Kids Dental.

I take my 2 boys to Tamela Gough and Dr. Hunter. They are in Allen at Alma and McDermott. We used to drive from Richardson until we moved to Frisco. Now it may take us a little longer. The 2 pediatric dentists are WONDERFUL. They make the experience a lot of fun and they only do what the child will tolerate. I highly recommend them. Good luck!

Dr. Robert Morgan - he's located near Campbell and 75, rigth behind Richardson Regional medical Center - is FANTASTIC! My 3 and 6 year olds love to go to the dentists - they are taken back to a play area where they have toys and movies, use non-threatening terms for the tools they use, and then the kids leave with a toy (like a bouncy ball) and a balloon animal. My boys have never said anything about pain - they don't even say anythging about a dental exam unless I ask - they just talk about the fun they had!He also gives you his home number just in case and always feels friendly and accessible.

I am going to second Dr. Robert Morgan. I went to school with his kids and absolutely love him!! My family is in medicine so even though he his a family friend we use him because he is the best! He does a lot of charity cases at Children's hospital! He has two offices in Richardson and Irving. I have three kids who love him (2,5,8)! He takes them back where it is like a play room, let them watch a movie, color, play until they are comfortable and then cleans their teeth. I just had cavities filled and my daughter just had cavities filled; mine hurt and I had a swollen mouth, whereas she was done faster and felt just fine!!!!

I love our dentist office!!! The Dentist is "Dr Chuck" Medearis. His entire staff is woderful. My husband and I have been seeing them for probably 4 years or so. My 3 year old daughter just had her first visit a couple of weeks ago. Brook did her check up and was so great with her!! She explained everything and was so great with her. While I was getting my teeth done they gave her colors and entertained her and had movies for her to watch. When we got in the car after the visit my daughter exclaimed "That was fun!!!" I was dying laughing. They have always been good to our entire family and will work with you if you need to do a payment plan too. If you go tell them L. & Greg Iezzi sent you!
