Pediatric Chiropractor

My darling one year old has had so many ear infections over the past year that the doctor has said one more and it is to the ENT for tubes consideration. I am not concerned about tubes, I know lots of kids that have had it done without incident, but I am curious about Pediatric Chiropractics as a way to "cure" ear infections. Please let me know about your experience and if you could recommend a great pediatric chiropractor in the West Mesa, Tempe, Chandler area.

What can I do next?

I'm so happy to hear that all of you have given Chiropractic a try. It works for so many different things. I go to a wonderful Chiropractor who has 3 children of his own 6,5 and 2. He is on the corner of Brown and Gilbert, behind Sprouts. He's the kindest and most patient person I have ever met. I'm fully confident that you and children will Love him!

Hi J.
My wife forwarded me this message and wanted me to contact you regarding your one year old. I have been treating patients for the last 14 yrs and have treated many kids. I have had great results with kids and allergies and ear infections. I will be happy to look at your baby and see if it is a chiropractic issue and if it is, I will go over all the details with you and treat your baby and help eliminate the tubes and etc...
Anyhow, you can email me at ____@____.com and let me know when is good for me to meet you and your baby. You can come to the clinic I am directing in Tempe and they will charge accordingly or you can come to my house in Gilbert and I don't accept insurances, but charge a smaller fee. Let me know which works best for you and I look forward to hearing from you and helping your baby....

I took my son to a chiropractor, at 6 months, before having tubes along with taking him out of daycare at the same time... no more ear infections! He is 5 now. Dr. Anthony Infantino is great with kids. I would definately try this route first & insurance should cover it. Good luck!

Health For Life Chiropractic. I take my son there and they are great! They are very into the wholelistic approach to health. They are located on Lindsay and Broadway. Their number is ###-###-####.

My daughter was the same way--we battled it for over two years. Her pediatrician wanted to put her on antibiotics for 3 months straight. I worked as a pharmaceutical rep and knew what that could do to her. She would get off an antibiotic and spike a fever the same day--so i knew those weren't working! Plus, her ear would always have fluid in it--even after the full regimen of drugs. Finally a lady at the health food store told me about drops to put in her ears each day (for the life of me I can't remember the name--12 years ago!) Not only did it work--but she never had to have the tubes and it was the first time the doctor ever said there was no fluid in her ears!!

That is an interesting idea I am not familiar with, chiropractors are really awesome for a lot of stuff though. I hope you get the answers you are looking for along those lines. I would like to suggest another method of dealing with the ear infections too. My sister's son was getting a lot of them around 18 months. She got a bottle of Garlic and Willow oil at a health food store. She used these on his ears for a time and he didn't get another ear infection till earlier this year and he just turned 5 like a week ago. This is something you can use without the infection and it is homeopathic but if you use this it may work out that your little one won't get them anymore or at least as much. Good luck!

My son had the exact problem a few months ago and he couldn't hear very well due to the fluid and I wanted to try a more natural route. My brother took his daughters to a chiropractor with success, so I took my son to mine and the improvement was drastic after 2 visits! I definitely recommend Rhonda with Natural Therapeutics on University and Horne. Here number is ###-###-####. It's worth the drive for me and she has also helped with my chronic neck pain. My son no longer says "What Mommy? Say it louder!" all day long. It was so sad and frustrating at the same time.

I would definitely recommend trying anything to get away from tubes - not that tubes are bad, but I had them three times as a child and still had a life that was one big, walking ear-infection, and my ears as an adult as still a mess.

Hope that helps!

Hello there. I can relate to you 100%. My two older children suffered from several ear infections as infants. Too many to count. I was given the same advice about my daughter needing tubes when she was only 3 months old. She had so many by then. Long story short, I went to a Naturopathic doctor and found out she had food allergies. I eliminated foods from both my childrens diet and mine since I was nursing and the ear infections completely went away. I too was seeing a chiropractor but since the offending foods were still in their system adjustments alone could not help. For my kids the foods were dairy, eggs, and wheat. I would start with those and see how she does. It is so worth it. We also saw many other things clear up for our kids that we did not think were related. It is an easy solution with long term benefits for your kids. There are many web sites that will list the top allergenic foods. Keep a diary and see what happens. I hope this helps. I do have a great Chiropractor as well. He is off of Main and Lindsey. His name is Dr. Steven Kuhn. His number is ###-###-####. He is great.
