There are a lot of great places online. I found a place called Party All Ready that has free shipping right now for all orders over $35. They have so many more options then most stores like Target or even Party City. http://www.partyallready.com

edit...I forgot all about Big Lots.
The only local ones that I know of besides what you mentioned are Toysrus and dollar tree type stores.
I found purple I need for a b-day at the dollar store.

FYI as a side note....

I saw a request for pinata sticks before and can't find it again but, Walmart and Target both had decorated ones hanging up with supplies. Walmart was just a bit cheaper in price.

Just wondering what theme you're going with. I have a ton of party supplies (decorations and some favors) that have Wall-E on them. Let me know if you're interested.

they have some cute ones already made for you. I don't know what your theme is, but they have several to choose from. They can also have like 2 day shipping.

If you don't have time to wait on the mail and Oriental Trading, go to US Toy in Plano. They are located on the NW side of Parker/Independence. They have party suppllies, goodie bag stuff and teacher supplies.

I understand the RSVP thing myself. No one has manners anymore. Don't expect any thank you notes anymore either, as in a thank you a gift you give when you attend a party. Now I did receive a few thank you notes from people who attended the party we had last year. Granted...it was a large teen party but I did not expect a thank you for that. What have we become? Glad to know I am not the only mom out here teaching etiquette to my daughter.

We are gearing up for a big blowout for my daughter's 14th bday (no gifts). Last year we advertised on the invitation that those who RSVP'd by my deadline ( I did not deny anyone entrance to the party) would be entered into a drawing. I did this because I had to confirm a number to the club for per person attending $$$.. The idea worked great and 1 kid walked out with an IPod shuffle.

I did get slammed from a couple of moms on here for supposedly "buying" people to come to my daughter's party, LOL. I guess they didn't "get it". When you have 100 invitations out you kindof need to know about how many to be ready for. The drawing was the bait for RSVP..

I don't have to worry about that this year because the kids are already asking when and where the party will be this bday and looking forward to another great time.

Sorry for TMI. I get all fired up about etiquette issues and people who just ignore basic manners. GEES.

Have a great party.
