Pampers Dry Max

With all the uproar on the internet about the new Pampers Dry Max diapers causing serious diaper rashes and leaking badly, I'm wondering if anyone here has experienced these issues? We cloth diaper, but use Pampers as our dipes when we need to use disposables.

What can I do next?

I tried them, and had no problems at all.

Having said that, however, I will continue to use the Pampers Baby Dry, becuase I've never had any trouble with them and they are significantly cheaper!

the rumors are true! I tried them once and won't use them again. We regularly use Baby Dry Pampers.

I haven't had any issues and have always used them. Huggies always seems to leak for my kids. I always buy Pampers Cruisers. Is Dry Max the new version of Cruisers? If so, then I've been using that for about a month now...no issues.

I haven't heard the uproar, and we use them without any problems. They haven't leaked and no rashes at all on our 18 month old twins.

I've heard a lot of people having trouble with them. We have had no problems at all. They seem just like the older Pampers to me.

I haven't been able to find them in size 6, so we are still using the normal Pampers Baby Dry diapers. My boy is a "big" boy - the first in 4 that actually needed size 6 diapers - lol.

My boys actually have issues with Huggies leaking & rash from them, but my girl had issues with the Pampers Baby Dry (not Max) leaking & rash... personnal I think it has to do with the kids, how they move & what their skin can handle. My daughter also has issues w/ fabric some softners and bath supplies. So, each little one is different.

I have been a loyal Pampers customer since my 18 month old daughter was born...our son is 3 months old and we are now fighting off a diaper rash. I thought it was JUST A DIAPER RASH. Kids get those occasionally. This rash would not go away...took me a week to admit that it could be the diapers and to change to another brand...I kept thinking..."It isn't getting any worse, so it can't be the diapers!" I WAS WRONG! We switched to another brand and in 2 diaper changes his rash is getting SIGNIFICANTLY better. My daughter was in the regular Pampers, but my son was in the Pampers Swaddlers. This rash showed up when the "Dry Max" took over. Maybe it is just some kids are more sensitive...but why was he okay with the old Swaddlers and now has problems with the "Dry Max" ones? Too coincidental for me. Pampers just lost a customer.

My 1 year old uses Pampers, exclusively. I have been using the DryMax and have had no problems at all. No leaking. No rashes. WIth my older kids, I could use any off-brand with no issue, but Huggies always leaked. With the baby, I can't use the off-brand because she will get rashes every time. Each baby is different, so I'd say try them to see. Sure, it gets frusterating if you spend the $ on diapers, then they don't work for you. But, you'll never know until you try. I'd buy a smaller package at first. Good luck!

I don't know about rashes but I have had terrible problems with Pampers diapers leaking, even if they are not left on for a long time, and the gel is a mess.

I use huggies or kirkland brand, no problems.

We use cloth during the day and disposables at night because our boys are heavy wetters. I've only tried the new "Extra Protection" so far though. My local Kroger had all the old packaging diapers on sale for $3.99 (plus my coupons!!!) so I bought TONS of the old diapers. I haven't heard anyone say they are having troubles with the new ones.

My son has broken out in a horrible rash, I would call it more of a burn than a rash. His skin appears to have layers of skin burned off... it is to the point of bleeding and the diaper rash cream that I always use won't even adhere to his skin. It's horrible. It started almost immediately after I began using the Dry Max Diapers. I use regular Pampers Overnight Diapers at night, and it appeared to get better overnight. Used the Dry Max again the next day, and it got 10x worse. Stopped using the diapers all together, and it's healing already (switched back to Luvs!). Used to be a Pampers fan, but am no longer! Especially since P&G seems to have no compassion for the hundreds of babies experiencing horrible rashes, burns, and blisters from these diapers.

I use the Extra Absorbent Pampers for nighttime and they work much better than Huggies overnights as far as leaking. No rashes. I have seen lots of places clearancing out their Pampers Cruisers, so you might check your favorite store and stock up if you can find them on sale. Haven't tried the new pampers, but I've always had good luck with the Baby Dry brand.

Pampers is the only thing we use & we just finished our first box of dry max. No problems here & several diapers have been extremely full when they were changed.

We just finished our first boxes of the cruisers with the dry max and the swaddlers with the dry max. No problems with either one! We used the old versions of the cruisers and swaddlers before the change, too, and they seem to work exactly the same as before.
