The entire Pampers line is great! whatever you do...don't use Huggies! My 5 month old daughter uses them now a days, but only because of the price ..but i rather pay a few more dollars for better quality and stronger hold especially on #2!

besides, each time you buy pampers they donate a vaccine to a sick child somewhere.

Hope this helps...

Hi S., yes, I use the Swadlers in both sizes one and two, and I hear there is a 2-3 - but haven't seen those, but I loved them just as much as the sensitive newborn! Good luck - and when the time comes, I like the cruisers too - they just fit my little guy right!!

My daughter was VERY sensative to the diapers she was put in and broke out in rashes whenever I tried to switch, so we did the Pampers sensitive, then the regular swaddlers, then the cruisers. I had to use the sensative wipes until she was potty trained. The regular swaddlers and the cruisers worked just as well for us.

They work great. when I had my son almost 2yrs ago, I tried all brands and Pampers has been the best. The regular ones from Pampers are good and he can use them overnight without a leak or sensitivity to his skin which is a plus.

Yes the regular swaddlers work just as well. And the cruisers are excellent also. Not so much for the Baby Dry though. They leak. I was a Pampers user for my first two boys and then switched based on a recommendation from a friend. Luvs are much cheaper and recently they have changed the cut of the diaper and they are much better! I would try getting the smallest package - around $6 and see if you like them. I couldn't believe my eyes how well they worked.
Best of luck to you!

I loved the Swaddlers Sensitive when my baby was small. I did not like the Cruisers as much, but I have a girl. I much prefer (and so do my friends who have girls) the Huggies natural fit. However, my friends with boys all liked and still use the Pampers Cruisers.
p.s. I'm sure you know about the pampers gifts to grow points, but you can go onto the pampers website and login your pampers points found on the packaging of most pampers products and earn points for products and giveaways...just be careful of the shipping costs - for some the cost of shipping on the free item is more than the toy costs if you bought it retail!

I used the Pampers Swaddlers for my son as well and loved them and found that when he out grew those, the next best thing was the Pampers cruisers. He is now 2 and I still use them and am getting ready to buy the pull-ups. Good luck!

I ONLY used Pampers Swaddlers. I have 3 children and with my first baby, I tried all brands and settled on Pampers Swaddlers. They are the best and DO work as well as the newborn sizes.

The one thing you might want to watch is that pampers are scented, whereas Huggies and most generic brands are not. If your little one is super sensitive to begin with, he could have a reaction to the perfume. My kids did not have a problem with it, but I know of other babies who were sensitive to it an had to switch to Huggies or generic.

I am very cost conscious (I have to be), so I never paid retail price for name brand diapers. I only bought Huggies or Pampers when they were on sale AND I had a coupon. At that rate, I could get them as cheap, if not chepaer than the generic brands. Neither of my kids ever had a diaper rash with any diapers, and I never had a problem with leaking either, even in the generics. I preferred Huggies as my boys got bigger becasue they fit "higher" and that seemed to work better for my skinny boys.

BTW: you can use pull-ups coupons for any Huggies diapers, and they offer a bigger discount than the Huggies diapers coupons (ususally $2 off). If you register at the Huggies web site they will send you coupons in the mail about every three months. And watch for sales at Walgreens and Target. They usually have Pampers and Huggies on sale at least once a month. I would use my coupons and stock up when they were on sale, and the buy the generics (Target brand are very inexpensive) to fill in between sales and coupons. IMO Loves were not cheap enough for me to make a difference. If I was going to go for an off brand anyway, I would go for the cheapest.

I found that Pampers Baby Dry leaked for my son. Your son may be different. I never tried Cruisers though. I have stuck to Huggies. But Swaddlers were my favorite when he was under 3 mos....

My husband and I actually tried every kind of diapers, from generic store brand, Luvs, Huggies and Pampers. Based on our experience we use nothing but Pampers and have had no problems with them. Every other kind leaked. I know they cost most than store brand, but it was our experience that they are the only brand for us to use. Good luck

I was always happy with them. My daughter just moved up to a size 4 (she's almost 8 months) and I recently switched to cheaper brands, but I was always happy with Swaddlers. I have heard that boys and girls do better with different diapers so maybe just buy a small box until you know you like them. Good luck - your son is at that perfect age where he starts to show his personality. It only gets better from here!

I love the pampers Baby Dry. they are available starting at size 3, they are not as bulky as the cruisers or the huggies but work just as well. they have a strip inside that is designed to pull the moisture away from their bottoms.

We used Pampers from the specialty preemie size (that aren't in stores), to the preemie size that is in stores, and all the way up to to the EasyUps. We loved them all the way through. I had many people inform me that I could be saving money using lesser brands, but I can tell you this - in all of her life my daughter has never had a diaper rash. So I am a believer, stay with Pampers.

The larger equivalent to the Pampers Swaddlers is the Pampers Cruisers. They're the ones in the purple packaging. Regular Pampers in the green packaging are less expensive, but not as good. I have a 6-year-old and a 3-year-old, and I've gone through every diaper out there. Pampers Cruisers are the absolute best. I wouldn't waste my money on anything else.

Personally, I do not like the Pampers in the purple pack. They changed them in 2004 or 05 and I just did not care for the change. My sister and I have both learned that as baby boys get older that Huggies seem to work better (less leaks, etc). Not sure why, but that has been our experience! HTH.

i never used the sensitive swaddlers, but i loved the regular swadlers on my baby. she's too big for them now which is a bummer because baby dry isn't as good.

you know, i really loved the swaddlers in the beginning too. and then for some reason, by the time we got to size 2-3, they started giving my little guy a rash! i've had the best luck with plain old huggies in the red&white package...they're cheaper and really seem leak proof!

I am a Pampers Mom for sure! All their products worked like a charm for my girl and their coupons have gotten better and better too (same as Huggies usually on price and discount). They fit her better, were softer and usually, more absorbent. Be sure to go to pampers.com if you haven't already to enter codes for Gifts to Grow and get some free stuff!

Absolutely Not! At least for my son they did not work. The swaddlers are only good for newborns. For bigger babies I found that they are practically paper thin and they leak real bad.

I used the swaddlers as long as I could (they were great!), then switched to the cruisers for my son. They've all worked great all the way through. We tried the Huggies a few times but they always seemed to leak and I have had many moms of boys say the same.

Good luck!

S.,

I can't say anything about the new swaddlers but I imagine they are just as great. I have only used pampers products on all my boys and just loved them. I would say try a package and see how you like them and then go from there.

Good luck.

I used Swaddlers until my son got too big for them. Then I switched to Cruisers. I've never had a problem with either. I have tried other diapers and my son has leaked through each other brand I've tried, including Huggies. So I've stuck with Pampers and I've always been happy. Plus, I've gotten awesome prizes with the Pampers points! Good luck!
