Oven Trouble

There is a spray at Lowes called Krud Kutter. I use it on stuff like this and it works great. Just be careful, it will take the finish off of wood if you get it on there.

Does the oven have a self cleaning setting? I was petrified to use mine for a while but then my cousin told me how easy/safe it was and sure enough...after it was done all I had to do was wipe the ashes out with a dishcloth!!

I would try making a paste from baking soda and a little lemon juice. Slather on the paste and let it sit, then scrub it with warm water and a scrub brush.This works pretty good, and there's no chemicals in it. I try to use all natural cleaning solutions whenever possible. They're better for your skin, lungs, the planet, and easy on the pocketbook.

try wrapping the element in foil or plastic wrap. The plastic wrap is easier to manipulate but some cleaners can eat a hole in the plastic wrap(oy!)good luck!m;)
