Orange Juice Stain on My Carpet

get some resolve hi traffic carpet cleaner-spray on..scub like crazy..ive gotten worse out of carpet with this stuff..sounds like the carpet guy was just plain lazy

I've also had good luck with OxyClean mixed in hot water. It will make it back to the original color tho (it works that well) so if the remainder of the carpet is discolored from time/use it will show up cleaner than the rest...kind of like an "anti-stain" but I am thinking you want the whole carpet to look uniform. So only try oxyclean if the rest of the carpet is still the original color.

Nature's Miracle or another pet stain remover will usually take any organic products (including orange juice) out of fibers.

I just got strawberry lime-ade out of my light-colored carpet...anything is possible!!!

We bought a Hoover steam cleaner and it took out all sorts of stains that we never thought would budge. I highly reccommend it!!!

Sorry to tell you that the stain may be permanent. I remember my little brother throwing up orange juice on my Mom's brand new white carpet and try as she may, the stain never did come out. I hope you find something that will get it out. If you do, please post it, as I would be interested to know if there is something that will work.

I had the exact same thing happen. My 3yr old split her entire glass of OJ on my light colored carpet earlier this year. I have rented a machine 3 times now, and it has finally came out. I first used different stain removers only to discolor the carpet.(UGH after about 20 different attempts) Finally after about 8 months it's finally gone.

Rent the machine. It's $20...but worth it.
