Ever since I had my tubes tied in February my skin is horrible. It is constantly oily and I don't think I broke out this much in high school!Does anyone know of a product that really works for oily skin?

What can I do next?

I agree with the others, I also use the Mary Kay's Line and it works great just remember to use it every day. I went on Vaca for 1 week and forgot to pack the cleanser and I was doomed when I got back. Break out city. I had always struggled with acne problems. Until I discovered Mary Kay. Now My 11 yr old Daughter is dealing with it. She wants Pro Activ , I am scared to put out that much money for it and it not work. I was told not to let her use Mary KAy because she is to young , We have tried 3 different Rx's from her doc and they haven't worked .

I use Mary Kay's line. They have a whole cleaning regimen. When I first started, I broke out a little, but now my skin is wonderful.

My skin used to be oily till I tried Bath and Body works...Tru blu spa product called (Three ring citrus)...I love it

This sounds weird, maybe, but I used my regular soap (Pear's) and after I lather up my hands I put about a tablespoon of baking soda in, rub it up and wash my face with that. It's a great exfoliator and it really cuts through the grease! A clay mask 2 times a week or so helps control the oil at the source. I have really greasy skin and this combo is the only thing that works. Good luck!

Hi G.,
I am a skincare consultant and deal with skin ailments on a regular basis. I've noticed a lot of moms are recommending Proactive, but I don't think that would be best for you. Proactiv products contain benzoyl peroxide which causes allergic reactions and excessive dryness in many people. I would recommend a product without benzoyl peroxide such as Murad's acne treatment system. It contains salicylic acid and kills surface bacteria which causes buildup and also cuts down on sebum production. The moisturizer in the line helps to control oil. The kit is about $30 at Sephora and is available online. Another recommendation is to use a cleanser containing glycolic acid which helps to smooth the skin and get rid of oil and dirt. Dermadoctor has a great product called Wrinkle Revenge cleanser, which I use on my face. If you have any questions feel free to send me an e-mail ____@____.com luck!

I really like Aveno Daily Scrub.

you need Mary Kays Timewise its'amazing once you've used it it feels like you have a whole new face
