Obgyn - Carrollton,TX

Does anyone have any requests for an OB/GYN in the Carrollton area who is a Christian woman? Not real particular on the Christian part, but it's my preference.
Also, I have a really high deductible and would like to find a reasonably priced Birthing Center or hospital for this pregnancy/birth.

What can I do next?

Dr. Cindy Hartley is Board Certified in OB/GYN, Infertility and Adolescent GYN.

PLEASE call and ask about their options for you! She is kind, friendly, knowledgable and so is her office staff!

She was recommended to me by a neighbor when I moved here 4 years ago and she is wonderful!

I am a labor and dlievery nurse at Trinity Medical Center in Carrollton and we have some great docs, plus a great L and D unit. I would reccomend Dr Franken, Dr Paroski, or Dr Lungren. All 3 are great, but Dr Paroski and Dr Lungren have there office in Flower Mound and Dr Franken's office is at the hopsital. Good Luck!

I LOVE Dr. Mary Ann Franken ###-###-####. I have been with her for all 3 of my kiddos which happened to coincide with her beginning her practice in Carrollton. I am a Christian myself, but I don't know that she is. I trust her so much that I have actually used the phrase "Whatever you think" in conversation with her. I am not so crazy about her partner but it is more of a personality clash rather than a skills issue. Feel free to schedule an interview with any potential doctors.

She only delivers at Trinity.

I have had all three of my children at a birthing center. The first two were at The Birth and Women's Center in Dallas on Swiss Ave. My latest was born at the Allen Birthing Center. The prenatal care, birth and postpartum care runs around $4200.00. They both take insurance and will work with you on payments. I had a great experience.

Hope this helps.

R.,
Just FYI... When I gave birth to my second child I had already quit work and gotten independent health insurance with a high deductable. You can talk to the hospital where you are going to give birth and if you pay for the birth in advance they give you a HUGE discount. I paid $3250 for the hospital delivery for my son. I also asked my OBGYN about a discount for paying in advance and she gave me 20% off. Lastly, I talked to the doctor that gave me my epidural in advance and he gave me a 60% discount on that bill. All in all, I paid $5990 for the birth of my son which I thought was quite a deal :)
Good luck and let me know if you have any additional questions!

R....Congratulations! What a blessing each child is from God. I have the most fabulous ob/gyn, but she in Plano, not that far, but worth the few extra miles. Her name is Dr. Katrina Lee, 6124 West Parker Road, Building 3, Suite 430, Plano, TX 75093. Phone ###-###-####. I have been with her for seven years and I can't begin to tell you how she has made a difference. I had to have a hysterectomy...in the hospital for 5 days and she was in my room no less than 4 times a day to check on me. At 11:00 P.M. she would be making her final rounds to make sure I was okay and that I did not need anything before she left for the day. I would be guaranteed she would be back in my room before 7:00 the next day! When you are in her office, you are treated as if you are the only person in her practice...and most importantly to me, she is a Christian. She lives and works by her Christian morals and beliefs. You won't be disappointed. I have referred her to many of my friends and they all love her. Congratulations and have fun with your 2 year old...I loved that age with my boys.

My OB is a man, but Trinity Medical Center in Carrollton is very reasonably priced. I paid cash for my daughter's birth and was very lucky that the best price just happened to be the closest hospital. I was very happy with their staff and level of care too.

There is a WONDERFUL obgyn in west Plano off of Parker and the Tollway. Not in Carrolton, but close. Her name is Dr. Jan Seddigzadeh (I think that is how you spell it). She is in the Presbyterian Hospital of Plano. She is absolutely wonderful & considerate. I am a Christian myself and have found this practice to be a blessing!

I had my son at the Allen Birthing Center last November. If you pay in full early, I think it's by the 20th week, you get a significant discount. I would recommend this center to anyone. I had a great experience with them before, during and after.
