Here's another one for Greenbriar OB/GYN. I haven't seen Dr. Wirtheim much, but I absolutely love the two women doctors there (Dr. Pickford and Dr. Gopal). I will be having my second delivery with them in a month!

I go to Kaiser Permanente and they deliver at Fair Oaks. You aren't guaranteed the same doctor and anyone from Kaiser can deliver you, but I have to say that I liked every doctor I met. I will say that I was pretty laid back about not having the same doctor deliver me as the one that I regularly saw. As a matter of fact, I had never met the doctor who delivered me, but honestly, I didn't care. They had all of my medical records for all of my visits right in front of them. The doctor doesn't come in until the head is crowning anyway. Up until that point you are pushing with two nurses. I went to the Kaiser at Fair oaks. Dr. Vu was my doctor there at the practice, but I was told from the beginning that it would be incredibly unlikely that he would deliver me for the simple reason that he is the head of all the OB/GYNs in the region. Another reason I believe that I delivered with a doctor I had never met is because I delivered one week before Christmas. Dr. Martin, the doctor who delivered me, was great. She was incredibly nice and took great care of us.

I go to Greenbrier OB/Gyn too. Dr. Wertheim delivered my son via c-section with no issues and the scar healed nicely. He is a huge advocate of stay at home mom's, breast feeding etc. He's really easy to talk to and takes the time to follow through any issues. I've brought up so many embarrassing things with him and never received a weird response, only support. I never had a male doctor before using their office but will choose him when I schedule my next delivery at the end of this year. I'm 10 weeks pregnant so maybe I will see you there =-)

Tepeyac Clinic in Fairfax. Three of their doctors (Bruchalski, Fisk and Anderson) have delivered all three of my children. I can not speak more highly of them. I hope you have an easy, comfortable pregnancy and delivery when the time comes. Good luck!

I go to a group of three doctors who deliver at Fair Oaks. It's called Greenbrier Ob/Gyn. They're in a medical building just off Rt 50 near FairOaks mall. It's 2 female doctors and one male (Dr. Gopal, Dr. Pickford, and Dr. Wertheim); you see all of them on rotation because it just depends on who is on call the night you deliver. I had all 4 of my children with them. I would always run into friends/coworkers there, so they are fairly busy, but not so much that you can't get an appt. They are a great group. Let me know if you have any more questions.

I've gone to Northern Virginia OB/GYN for over 15 years, they have an office on Joseph Sedgwick Drive and another location. Here's the main # ###-###-####. I've met all the docs there, but Dr. David Berry is my favorite, he's delivered 2 of my 3 kids. He's very nice and answers all of your questions. I never feel rushed there. Good Luck with your search.
