Hi, A.! My doctor's practice has an Ashburn office, I believe. They are Women Physicians of Northern Va. I see Dr. Thurston (she delivered my one and only sweetie and was terrific about it and all through the pregnancy!). But I also have seen their other doctors there too and they were fine. It's a relatively small practice (4 doctors, not all full-time, I think). And if you can't get into one office, you can always visit another -- they have Reston and Fairfax offices too. I've been seen at all three depending on my schedule and theirs. Give them a call. They may be quite booked because they're smaller than some practices but I've been satisfied. Good luck!

I go to Women's Healthcare Associates located Lansdowne next to the hospital. I see Dr. Chauncy Stokes and he is a wonderful OBGYN. He has been practicing in this area for a long time and is very well respected within the hospital community. He delivered my son in January thru an unplanned C-section and he always made me feel that every decision we made it was together and calm. And that is the word I would use to describe him - calm!!

** I really like Dr. Feluca. But it is a VERY busy office. I have had some extensive things going on and she has been very thorough and wonderful during this with all my options.

I used to go to: Fairfax OB/GYN the closest office for them is Fair Oaks Hospital off Fairfax Parkway. I really liked them too, however, I got tired of the drive and I really wanted to get closer to home and a female doc. Since I am getting closer and closer to that age I wanted someone who had been through what I have that is why I changed. But they were very good and delivered one of my children.

I also recommend Women Physicians of Northern Virginia, who delivered my 4 year old and 3 month old. There are 4 women in the practice who I believe are great practicionners - as in any practice, they vary in their interpersonal styles. I found Dr Razul and Dr. Mazari (spelling??) to be the easiest to talk to and the most forthcoming/open om discussion. They encourage you to work with all the doctors during your OB experience. The nurses are really nice.

Jamie Zaita is my OB/GYN. She is located in Fairfax not far from Fair Oaks Mall. I am very pleased with her. She delivered both of my children and was very helpful during a difficult pregnancy. I go to Loudoun Physician's for Women in Leesburg. There are 4 women in the practice, so chances are you can find one that you like. I saw Dr. Brown for years, but recently had my first child so I rotated through all four. I liked them all for different reasons. Good luck!

Dr. Neil Foster. He is in Lansdowne, in the professional building attached to the Loudoun Hospital. ###-###-#### He is phenomenal, awesome, I can't say enough about him! He is totally laid back, not pushy. He delivered my first son in september and it was a great experience. And I think that is saying a lot when it comes to having your first baby.
