OB GYN Needed in Mesa

I also go to Contemporay Care for Women, but I had Dr. Teresa Demore as my OB, and I REALLY liked her. I wasn't exactly a low-maintance patient by the 9th month and she was great with me. I'd choose her again in a heartbeat!

I love Dr. Eric Hazelrigg @ Comprehensive Women's Healthcare! Like some mentioned below, I have seen all the drs/nurse practioners there during my many years with them and they are all wonderful. Dr. Falk actually delivered my daughter, and at the time was the only one in the office I hadn't seen, but he was great! Their office is on the SW corner of Gilbert & Guadalupe behind a grocery store (which I believe is empty now), technically in Gilbert but right near the city of Mesa limits. They deliver at Banner Desert. I delivered there and had a wonderful experience. I would give them a call, it doesn't hurt to check people out when you're new to town. Good luck with your search!

I see Dr. Falk at Comprehensive Women's Healthcare. He is awesome and highly recommend him. I've see some of the other doctors there and they were great too, Dr. Hazelrigg, Dr. Kudlinski and the NP, Rosemary Boyle-Forsythe. You can't go wrong with anyone in that office and they only deliver at Banner Desert. ###-###-####

I had my third daughter last July. Dr. T (Paul Tamanaha) is awesome. He is with Contemporary Care for Woman in Gilbert. He delivers at Banner Desert. Their number is ###-###-####.

I highly recomment Dr. Ernest Gomez with Mesa OBGYN. They have 2 locations, one on Country Club and Brown and the other at Banner Lutheran's Women's Center. I'm sure they deliver at Banner Lutheran but not sure where else. With the closing of the hospital on Brown and C.C. they may be delivering at Banner Desert. Check it out.

I recommend Contemporary Care for Women (Gilbert Rd /Guadalupe).

Dr. Eric Hazellrigg at Comprehensive Womens Health. He delivers at Banner Desert(awsome hospital - they were so great with both of my kids. the nurses and staff are the best -= great choice) He was my ob for both of my kids. I found him through a friend who also loves him. and several of the girls at my work also go to him and think he is great. He is very very thorough and answers any questions you may have so that you understand fully. He takes his time with you and doesn't rush like some doctors seem to do. He is located on guadalupe between stapley and gilbert. He is AWSOME. but he can be hard to get in to so call right away. He is very busy but don't let that deter you. as long as you have you appt your fine but a little advice - try to make your appt in the morning if possible. Do to him being very thorough and understanding he can run over on his time in his appt's and later in afternoon he may be backed up so you might have to wait awhile for your appt time. But he is worth it. Good luck

I am glad that you posted this question as I have the exact same question. Of course I noticed it after I posted my own question. I don't know if you have checked out any hospitals yet in the area but my husband and I just decided to switch so that we could deliver at Banner Desert. They have a beautiful facility with and infant ICU. Many of the doctors that others recommended deliver there. I am switching doctors after 5 months and will be looking into some of the recommendations on your posting. I will be delivering my first in October.....here's to new moms! Good Luck

I go to Dr. Joseph Lindstrom on Gilbert and Baseline. The office staff are polite and the office is clean and cozy. Dr. Joe has great bedside manners, and is willing to spend a little extra time with you on each visit to answer any questions or concerns you have about your pregnancy. When I went to have my first daughter at Banner Desert, I ended up with an emergency C-Section, and I was reassured by all the nurses that Dr. Lindstrom is the best C-Section surgeon the hospital.

I love my GYN- Michelle McElroy at Comp Women's Healthcare... not sure if she's also an OB? She didn't deliver my babies(they were born before we moved here!).
Anyway, not sure which hospitals she goes to, but she was very personable and professional- about my age 38 or 39. I was highly impressed (it's hard for docs to impress me)

I go to see Dr. Tamanaha at Contemporary Care for women. You will find great reviews on this site for them.

And to the person that recommended Mesa OB-GYN...Dr. Gomes, Dr. Rubin, and Dr. Colleen I have found to be wonderful, but Dr. Roland is an ***! He has no bedside manner and is short, rude, and always in a hurry. It will be luck of the draw if he delivers you or not. And did they change hospitals? They weren't delivering at Desert when I was a patient there.

We have one baby who was born at home with midwives, so I can't directly recommend an OB. However, my friend loves Dr. Eric Hazelrigg, who is in Mesa. Also, my midwife loves and recommends Dr. Christine Brass-Jones, also in Mesa, and I am going to be using her for co-care with #2. Both of them are open to natural childbirth, if you're interested, and both deliver at Banner Desert. Best wishes, and congrats!!

I am in LOVE w- my OB!! His name is Dr. Linnerson hes w- Contemporary Care for Women ###-###-####. Hes one of those Drs. that makes you feel really comfortable around him and as we all know when it comes to people poking around in that "region" comfort is a BIG plus!!! I also like him because hes straight and to the point. I always felt like he had my baby's best ____@____.com had a few different OB's in Mesa but will NOT go anywhere else now that Ive found him. Southwest Women's care has an office in Mesa & Ahwutukee. They are a big group, but are great. Their group is in Desert 24 hours a day. I love Dr. Kimbro,she works mainly in Ahwutukee office, but the rest in Mesa are super also.

I'm not sure this OBGYN Delivers in at Banner Desert but he is wonderful! Dr. Gregory Layton. His new offices are on Baseline in between Greenfield and Higley. Might I also suggest East Valley Children's Center for a pediatrician. Dr. Curran or any of the other docs are just wonderful. I live in Gilbert and make the drive to Tempe! They are awesome! Dr. Ann Kimmel is in one of the buildings right near Banner Desert and she delivers there. She is strictly my GYN - I wish I would have known her at the time I was looking for on OB doctor. She is great, very professional and makes you feel comfortable, even has a personality and her nurse is fantastic and friendly too! Send me a message if you have additional questions.
