OB At Plano Presby or Nearby

My OB is Dr.Jenifer Broderick-Thomas at Harmony Women's healthcare at Presbyterian hospital of Plano. YOu can look them up online at http://www.harmonywh.com/
Either Dr. Broderick-Thomas or Dr.Subong Chambers they are both very professional and great. I actually picked Dr. Broderick-Thomas before moving to the area from Washington State. I was already six months pregnant. What I liked about her was she really cared about my well being and the baby. When I ended up in an emergency c-section (not her fault) She scrubbed in on her day off to help the ob on call at the hospital. She is awesome. My daughter is three now.

I have been seeing Dr. Garner at Plano Presby (Northlake OBGYN's) and he's wonderful!! He has a great sense of humor, you never feel rushed, and the wait time is minimal when you come for your appointments. He has taken care of me during my two pregnancies...

My OB is Dr. Grisham. His phone number is ###-###-####. He delivered my first child and will be delivering my second in April. He's awesome. His office is right behind Plano Presby. hospital.

I love Dr. Wells! He is in practice with 4 other doctors. ###-###-####. They are on the first floor.

Dr. MacDonald delivered my daughter and he was nice. Dr. Robins has helped in on-call status before too. Dr. Wells has been my doc for 15 years! He cared for me during both of my pregnancies and delivered my son. I had complications 3 weeks after delivering my son and required emergency surgery. Dr. Wells went above and beyond. I highly recommend him.

When looking for a good health care provider for pregnancy, consider these guidelines that collectively come from Lamaze International, World Health Organization, and National Institute of Health...although the wording varies from each organization (I am using Lamaze's 6 care practices from Lamazeinternational.org) the message and the research is the same:

Find someone who will
1. Allow birth to begin on its own. (Unless medically indicated...and do the homework on that, too.)
2. Support your need to freely move about during labor.
3. Encourage you to have continuous emotional and physical support.
4. Not use Routine interventions.
5. Not have a problem with you choosing upright positions for birth and will let you push according to your body's natural urges.
6. Who works in a facility that allows for immediate skin to skin bonding and plenty of opportunity to breastfeed your newborn.

I also love Dr.Jenifer Broderick-Thomas. I first met her in the emergency room when I had a miscarriage last year. She was compassionate and yet told me my options and was straight forward. When I could not get a hold of my OB Dr. Broderick-Thomas was there for me. I am now 5 mos pregnant and she is an awesome doctor. Her staff is very friendly and caring as well.

Dr. Thomas Fliedner is in the Lewisville/Flower Mound area. he is the best OB/GYN I have ever had. I am a Labor and delvery nurse in the DFW area, so I have alot of experience with area doctors and this one is by far, the best. He has 2 offices...one in Lewisville and one in Flower Mound.
