Nylons-Help!?
Is there any one brand that you Mama's out there have tried that is better than another? I swear I have tried every kind of nylon from Victoria Secret $20 a pair to WalMart $3.00 a pair. I can't seem to wear my nylons more than twice without ruining them somehow and I'm very frustrated. Any suggestions would be appreciated...
Take Care,
K.

So What Happened?™
I appreciate ALL of this advice. I will put it to use. I do need to purchase a lingerie bag...I'm going to try the freezer idea OR better yet..put the LEGGS brand and Calvin Klein brand in the freezer, do the hairspray thing and see if I can't get at least 6 months wear out of them.
Thanks Everyone...K.

I use Leggs Sheer energy. They seem to last a long time and I wash and dry them in the machines. Givev them a try - they run about 3.99 a pair.

I haven't tried them myself, but a perfectionist friend of mine said she finally tried Silkies, which comes mail order, and she wouldn't use anything else. They want you to join their club, though, to get reasonable prices on them. You know, where they send you pairs all the time and you pay for them. My friend was not about to do that, so the salesperson on the phone said she could put her membership in the club on hold for a long time (maybe a year?) between buying them. www.silkies.com Good luck!

Try coating them with a thin layer of hairspray just after you put them on. Your legs will feel a bit funny for a few minutes, but the hairspray helps to stop runs . . .kinda like putting clear fingernail polish on the end of one after it starts to keep it from running more.

Well I don't know of any that don't run eventully but when they do run roll them over a can and spray them with hair spray(in an airasol can) or for a "deep" run just roll them over a can and get some clear nail polish and it will take care of it.

My mother in law taught me a great trick. Store you nylons in the freezer. I don't know why this works, but it does, then be sure and spray them with hairspray.

Haynes Alive are very durable! I also like Haynes Silk Reflections, but they are not nearly as durable ash Haynes Alive.
