I have been in the child care field for 15 years and I can tell you that your daughter's reations are totally normal!T he only thing that will resolve the morning crying is time. She is at the begginning of the seperation anxiety phase and she will grow out of it. One thing you can do to help lessen the stress and length of this phase is to make a hasty and happy departure. Don't seem unsure about leaving and tell her some thing like, "Mommy will be here to pick you up after snack today. Bye bye!"

That's perfectly normal...actually, it's better then normal.

The fact that she is able to adjust so quickly and is happy all day should make you feel great. What a relief that you were able to find someplace that she feels so welcome and comfortable!

Honestly, while it seems an eternity to you 20 seconds is nothing to worry about. She sounds like a wonderfully well adjusted, happy little girl.

Count your blessings!
