girl. I am now 13 weeks myself and it is something everyday. If it is not morning sickness it is back ache.. it is so aggravating b/c the other 2 was a breeze. I have also noticed a little pudge.. i think it is to early.

It may be because the baby is facing forward, so that the baby's spine is right against your spine. This can cause low back pain. It helped me to get on my hands and knees and just stay therr for a little while. I've heard that causes the baby to turn over so that their spine is facing forward and relieves that pain, although my baby kept turning back so I'd do it often.

Congratulations!
As long as you're drinking enough water and staying well hydrated, it's not likely to be your kidneys (which are in the lower back). I don't remember having back pain until I was a bit furhter along, but everyone and every pregnancy is different. Try to stretch it out, rest when you can and stay hydrated!

Oh yes i had them with my last pregnancy only, it was really strange i had everything with the last pregnancy that i didn't have with the first 3.

Congrats on you pregnancy!!!

Im no doctor, but you may want to ask your OB/GYN to check your urine the next time you go in. I kept a urinary tract infection throughout both of my pregnancies. And it gives you a backache right on your pelvic bone... but.. just my opinion. Not trying to scare you about anything..
