No More Raccoon Eyes, Please

Hey, I can't seem to keep eyeliner on my eyes for more than an hour before I get smudges under my eyes. I have even tried the Revlon Colorstay kind thinking that would "stay" on my eyes not under them! I mostly put it on the top lid and put just a little bit under. Any ideas?

Ok so here are a few things, are you setting your foundation before you apply liner to the bottom (powder) - are you setting your liner with a simmilarly colored eye shadow as well? You are probably using an oil based make up remover as well w/out getting it off properly (use toner after oil based products) and you should see a difference after setting with powder. If you are already doing these things you should try using products that are not "creamy" so if you are using a creamy foundation try a mousse or matte product and if you are using a creamy liner try a penci liner. In addition are you applying primer on your entire lid and lower lid before doing your eye make up? It could also be your mascara causing part of the problem, do you bat your lashes a lot or wear mascara on the bottom lashes, sometimes the 'thicker' mascara should only be on the top and the lighter defining on the bottom if you must put it on your lower lashes it can cause issues in that area too.

I had the same problem. Now, I swear by Clinique Lash Power mascara and Clinique Quickliner. It is a little pricey, but when you purchase during bonus time, it is actually quite affordable. (I have never had to purchase eyeshadow or lip products with the bonus treats)

I stopped wearing eyeliner and certain mascaras for this very reason! If you get a good solution, do tell.

For now, I have just been wearing those lengthening mascaras with the white waxy undercoat that extend your lashes. These seem to not smudge or run unless you really rub your eyes hard, but they sure make a mess when washing it off. The first time I used this stuff I thought it caused my eyelashes to fall out! Thankfully, it was just the undercoat and fibers that "lengthen" your own lashes washing down the drain, not my lashes.
