No Diaper Infant Swim Wear

I keep seeing the swim wear for babies and toddlers at Target, that you do not have to wear a diaper. I am not sure what it is called, but it is in a bag sold as separate tops and bottoms, and is leak proof. Has anyone used these before? Do they actually work?

We used them when my son was in swimming lessons. They work GREAT for #2, #1 goes staight through. What we were told is that most public pools have such high levels of chlorine that they are not concerned about #1. Little swimmers diapers DO NOT hold #2. The elastic about the back is not what it is in the swimming trunks.

They do work great. We've used them the past 2 summers with my son. The disposable kind do not keep urine or feces from getting in the pool. They may keep urine from getting in your car or something before you go swimming. The washable kind are far superior at keeping feces from entering the pool. Just keep in mind that you should put them when you get to the pool- not before leaving the house. Urine will escape them. I've never used a disposable with my son (though I do use regular disposable diapers). They are just called non-disposable or washable swim diapers.

They do not work. Your best bet is to just buy the swimers disposable diapers and hope that #2 doesn't make an appearance.

I used one on my son a few weekends back at an indoor pool party. He is only 7 months old and it worked great, they said that they prevent leaks more then the little swimmers. But just a warning but bigger, my son is in 12 month clothes but I put him in a 18-24 month suit.

I hope this helps.

I haven't seen the ones at Target but Gymboree makes great suits with them built in and they work great. I really like them.

We use them it keeps in poopy from going in the pool. I bought them for my daughter when she was taking swim lessons and they didn't let the children use the swim pants that you buy in diaper aisle. I bought mine though one step ahead cause she wore a bigger size than what they sold at Target. I thought it was worth the money for me cause I can just throw the suit in the washer and let it air dry and it would be ready the next day. I didn't worry about if we have Little Swimmers or not.
