First and foremost, file a police report and make sure to close-out ALL credit cards! You may be able to get some of it back if the police find anything with your name on it in their possession.

Try Craigs List... you may find some really inexpensive toys in good condition. Also try consignment shops and the Salvation Army.

First thing you ought to do is report this to the police. Being that you can provide a list of names they shouldn't have a hard time tracking down your wallet.

Report it to your credit card company and bank.

Ask at your son's school and maybe your local church.

Toys for Tots as well.

That is horrible. I suggest freecycle and the free listings on Craigslist. If you go to church EVER at all, ask the minister where you attended.

I looked over your old questions - some of us get targeted when we are vulnerable. Seems like the more open, kind, and bright we are, the more "FUN" it is for those kinds of people to hurt us. Please don't let it make you cynical. Oh, and I have a "I must be 1st" kiddo too. : )

You need to file a police report ASAP..
They then may be able to give you suggestions about different organizations that help families.. Here is Austin all of the Police, Sheriff and Marshall dept.. are in charge of Blue Santa and give away toys.. but these families are suggested by public assistance groups..

report this to the police. have the police investigate and hopefully resolve it.
check out freecycle..one year i was fornuate to find a fisher price doll house with all the furniture and a remote controlled robot from freecyle.

Freecycle.org is a good place to start. Toy for tots too.. Contact your local CHP and see what they need to get you in. UGGHHH people make me so mad! i wish you were closer!

im sorry i cant help you bec i dont live in your area but i hope everything works out for you and your son this christmas also its hard to find good friends these days but thank god your son is your friend as well and no matter what happens this christmas he wont love you any less
