Nice Places to Stay in Destin, FL

We are going to Destin next month and would like to stay at a nice place - it can be either a nice resort or a nice condo unit. The place should be kid friendly, of course. A lazy river would be great, but not mandatory. As long as there is a really nice pool. A water slide would also be a plus. Any suggestions? Thank you!

We rented a house right on the beach, it was literally in our back yard and that was great. My nephew didn't even need a water slide!

It may be too late but we rented a house through Vacation Rental By Owner (VRBO) in Destin last summer and it was great. We were within walking distance of the beach but the community also had a tram that ran all day. Having three kids too the house was great because it was better for lunch, dinner etc. and ours had a pool so when the kids got tired of the beach we would come back and spend time in the pool. Destin is great, have fun.
