New Toy for My 12 Month
I am looking for a toy to replace my daughter's exersaucer. I would like something she can pull up on and stand and play with. I have looked at the Leap Frog Learn and Groove Musical Table, this looks like fun and good entertainment. Does anyone have experience with this or anything similar that they would recommend? Thanks for the help!

H.,
We got the Learn and Groove Musical Table for my son for Christmas last year. He was 9 months old then. It has been a great toy. He still plays with it and he is 21 months old now. It has two modes. In one mode the songs are just melodies and in the other mode they sing numbers, colors, shapes, abc's, etc. He is now really enjoying the abc's and dances to the abc song all the time. I see him playing with it for at least another year. It you are worried about her falling over with it, you can take the legs off and have the table part sit on the ground. I highly recommend this toy.

This is a great toy. Both of my kids love this toy, and it lasts. The older babies enjoy it for different reasons than the younger set. A good investment.

The Leap Frog Learn and Groove is awesome!! It's a sturdy table and the legs come off so she can play on the floor. All the buttons work in spanish/english and by turning the pages on the "book" it changes what the buttons do!!! Way fun, my five yr old learned more spanish than she already knew from it and it was her 2 yr old brothers toy!! They both love it!!

I purchased a push wagon for my DD when she was almost 1, she really enjoyed it, aided her attempt to walk also. I've seen other little push 'wagons' that have blocks and other toys included in the design. I actually prefer wooden toys as they'll last longer, hopefully to be passed on to kids to come.

We had that table and it was great!

I think my friend has that table. If you can handle the music, my kids liked it. So did hers. But she had a lot more kids than I do, so the music drove her batty!
Somebody gave us a Fisher Price sort of table with things to spin and push. I never saw the package. We still have it. My babies loved to pull up on it and pushed it around like a walker. But they outgrew it pretty quickly.
Frankly, they enjoyed the MegaSaucer the most. I took it away for a few days, then set up the little feet so it can't rock anymore. Both boys loved to pull up on it and walk around the outside. The toys were almost like new from a different perspective!

I loved the Music Block. it had several catridges with songs to put in. It was about 14" square and soft. then there are doors you open to do activities. both kids loved it and I loved it when the second child came because it didn't hurt the baby. she rolled it around, pulled up on it and danced to the song. one step ahead catelogue or babies'r'us.

We gave this toy to my son for his first Christmas and he was a year old at the time. He absolutely loved it! The sound is great and there is a ton to do. We lent it to a friend and just got it back. My son is now over 3 and still loves this toy. My father even emailed Leapfrog to let them know that he was impressed with the quality of the sound and music. I have no complaints whatsoever with this toy and think it would be a perfect choice for you.
