New to AZ- Need to Find a Reputable OB/GYN & Primary Care Physician in Gilbert

Hello! I am trying to see if anyone has a good recommendation for an OB/GYN & Primary Care Physician in the Gilbert area. We live near Power Ranch Subdivision off McQueen & Higley. I would much rather go by way of reference rather than just picking out a doctor from a list. Thank you for your help!

What can I do next?

Thank you so much for your help everyone! This helps me immensely! What a great resource center! : )

Morning Star OB/GYN on Lindsay btwn williamsfield and pecos.
Dr. Leonard is a great doctor! Most offices here have a multitude of doctors and practitioners and you never know who you are going to see or who will deliver you, but Dr. Leonard is the only doctor in his office! And he cares! He delivers at Mercy Gilbert and it's a wonderful hospital! I highly recommend him!
Good luck!

I'm glad you received alot of OB/GYN recommendations because I gave up on finding a good one and drive all the way to the Mayo Clinic. I love it there but it is quite a drive.

My family physician is practically in your back yard though. We go to Dr. Gary Smith. Actually we see more of his nurse practitioer, Tracy Jones, than we do of him. But we really like them both and everyone else in the office. Their Gilbert office is located at 7400 S. Power Rd. and is literally right at the entrance to Power Ranch (one of them anyway). The number there is ###-###-####.

I just wanted to say that I can't believe there is someone out there that actually likes Dr. Wolfes office. I went there for two years and found their staff to be short and rude. And you always had to wait at least an hour or more for your appt. and then you are lucky if they spend more than two minutes with you once you are seen. When I had brochitis I was so sick I could barely sit up and they made me wait 2 1/2 hrs. before I was even seen because I didn't have a "scheduled" appt. I guess you have to schedule when you are going to get sick.

I love my OBGYN, Dr. Christine Brass-Jones at The Center for True Harmony & Wellness on Baseline & Arizona Ave (I've written an indept review on this site if you look her up. www.trueharmonywellness.com

I also love our primary care doctor. Dr. Homan Hajbandeh (don't be frightened by his name) ###-###-#### He's near Chandler Hospital. He's one of the only doctors that I know that calls patients himself with test results etc. AND he has an amazing memory about his patients and always asks after the other members of my family.

For Primary Care I go to Gilbert Family......Dr Wolfes office, they are great there ###-###-####. I have been going there for over 10 years and for me it's a drive to get there, but when you find a good doctor, the drive is worth it

I See Dr. Tamanaha (OBGYN) at Contemporary Care for Women in Gilbert (Greenfield and Guadalupe). I love him and have several friends who see him and love him as well. He is highly recommended!

I have been very happy with Valley Women for Women for OB care. Their website is: http://valleywomenforwomen.com/. They have offices at 202 and Val Vista as well as Gilbert and Baseline.
