New to Area Seeking Afterschool Program

Have you tried the Boys & Girls Club? I live near the Mid-Peninsula B&GC in San Mateo, and they are very reasonably priced from what I understand. I don't use it myself, but I have a lot of friends who do) They have a time to work on homework, snack is provided, they have lots of fun activities to do, and they will provide transportation from school to the club if needed. Hope this helps.

What county are you looking for and what school district are you in?

How much is too much? If you're just looking for after school care, maybe you can find a nanny share for after school. They pick up your kids, help them with homework, etc.

YMCA has after school programs. YWCA also.

SCORE Educational Centers There are many around. Just look them up. We went there for 4 years for different subjects. After school care? No clue. Just the educational thing. Your local school should have information on that.
