Aww, I totally understand. You're doing the right thing by reaching out!!! See if your local library has story time and go and meet other mom's with little ones there. A couple ladies in our neighborhood starting meeting once a week in their homes and then invited a third, and then another. And now we have 18 mom's in our neighborhood in our official playgroup! I just invite other mom's when I see them out walking or whatever! And it's great, b/c we're all so close and can share pans and other household items! Start one of your own!!! Don't be afraid to reach out, that's the way to make connections and get to know others at the same stage in life as you. Also, get plugged into a church and you'll definitely meet people there!

Try finding a MOPS group.. there's one at Trinity Presbyterian in McKinney and also First Baptist McKinney..I don't know if there are any groups in Anna.. Good luck!!

I'm also a stay at home mommy to Caitlyn ( 18 months ) We live in Melissa. My husband and I moved here from Iowa 8 years ago and up untill Caitlyn was born I didn't get out and about to meet anyone either so I know how you feel. If you would like to meet sometime let me know. I would enjoy the company and Caitlyn just LOVES other kids and babies. For the most part shes a very good little girl.( Likes to share her toys with others) I met another mommy on here around 6 months ago and its worked out great.

I am in a fun playgroup that's based in Allen. It's called Daisies and Dragonflies and is through meetup.com- you can find it there. It may be full when you check it out- it has a limit of 120, but there are openings every now and then. It's a very active, organized group with many activities to choose from and lots of nice ladies and kids.
