New Mom Group/playgroup W. Akron/Fairlawn/Bath

I am a new 39 yr old mom of an 8 mo old boy looking to start a play/social group with moms of similar aged tots or join an already existing one in the area. It would be nice to chat with moms of any age and share stories, tips, etc. There doesn't have to be any agenda; just hanging out. If anyone is interested or has a playgroup already going that has room for another person + child, please let me know!

Hi - I'm 36 with an 8-month old son. I'm new to Ohio. So not too familar with all the different cities/areas. I live in Broadview Heights. I know I go shopping in Fairlawn/Medina area. It's about 10 miles from my house. If that's not too far for you, I'd love to start a playgroup.

Hi C.. I do know of a few mom's groups in the area. I am new to Ohio, so I haven't actually had a chance to attend anything, but they all seem like a great group of women!
One Akron mom's group is a yahoo group (they meet in person too). Go to Yahoo, search under groups for "akron" moms. The other is a chapter group called MOMS Club. I belonged to the chapter in Myrtle Beach and loved it! If you send an email to ____@____.com they can get you in contact with someone!
