I am relocating to Ga this summer and will like to know if anyone has any thing to say about the McCar Homes.
I have been to GA back and forth for the past 2months and I really like their homes. Anyone has any comments or suggestions?
Very much grateful for your input.

Hi
I'm L. mother of two girls at home. We are moving to Canton next month from FL. We bought from a reputable builder by word of mouth. Not familiar with the builder you mentioned. Check around ask questions or go to some of their models/neighborhoods to check the quality. Harmony on the Lake is a nice subdivision, they are the Earthcraft homes, very well built. If you go see the agent Pat Colocino and tell him I sent you,he's very nice and knows alot about the up and coming area.

We moved here from Mo in early Dec. I have not heard anything negative of that builder. We looked all around and decided on the Bridgemill, off of Bellsferry & Sixes Rd. Really love the neighborhood. Good luck.

Y.,
McCar Homes is one of my husband's customers. They used to be called MDC homes. (McCar Development...) The name MDC is much more well known which may be why others mentioned that they have not heard of them. Hope this info helps.

Y., never heard of them. I've been in GA for 14 years. I read in the AJC that ANYONE can be a builder in this state as long as they have enough money to fund the project. I'd check the Better Business Bureaus to see if the builder has any complaints/judgements.

Good Luck!
