New Baby Brainstorming
My 3rd baby is coming in a couple months. I feel like there is so much more that I need to do, but cant come up with it,
This is what I have-
Crib
dresser
carseat
stroller
swing
some clothes
diaper bag
thermometer
nail clippers
wipes
breast pump
nursing covers
baby slings
pack n play
bouncer
Still need to get-
diapers
bottles
receiving blankets
crib sheets
What am I missing? I cant think of anything else. I didnt use a monitor with my last baby, didnt really need it so probably wont get one of those. Im just trying to get it together!
So What Happened?™
Oooh! Good job ladies!
Adding to the list-
boogie sucker
changing pad covers
tub chair

Changing pad and cover? Or are you skipping that and just changing wherever?
Baby tub or bath chair?
I found that I used a lot less "stuff" with my second. Just didn't need it for such a short amount of time. So your list looks pretty complete to me.

What about a swing or bouncer?
BTW - my second one prefers the swing that goes side to side. I found one on craigslist.

I have # 2 on the way, and am playing it out different this time. I'm getting most of the stuff you listed, but I also know hubby will be at the store for groceries, etc. I'm not gonna freak myself out this time. Most of the 'stuff' I got w/ the first, I never used! This time if I need something, it will start w/ "Hooonnnneeeyyyyyyy....." :o)

You've got a good list going. I wouldn't stress about it. Add diaper ointment, and swaddle sacks - got them at target or babies r us - they have velcro wraps and help the little one sleep better.
Re. the boogie sucker, my delivery nurse recommended taking the hospital one cause they're the best. If you have family/friends/hubby that can go get stuff when you figure out you need it, you'll be fine. Most of the time, it's not an emergency.
