Needing New Ob/gyn

Hi all,
I am 13 weeks pregnant with twins and am in need of a new OB/GYN. The staff and doctor blow me off and aren't a great help - I would really like to stay at Crieighton! Has anyone heard anything on Khandalavala or Fleming? Taggart or McFadden - even though they don't deliver at Creighton? I have never switched OB's before and am very uncomfortable with the situation - Help!!

What can I do next?

I have heard only great things about Dr. Khandalavala and also about Dr. Lisa Rice. The others I don't know about. Dr. Rice is a newer Dr. she came into the practice I believe about 2 years ago. She is a very nice and friendly person. I believe she delivers at Creighton too. I work in the imaging department at creighton so most of my knowledge is hear say, but I have had the opporunity to meet and talk with Dr. Rice. Patients of Khandalavala say nothing but nice things though.

I see Dr. Taggart and LOVE her. The staff is wonderful and are always available if you have concerns or questions. I had to have a repeat c-section and was really nervous about it but Dr. Taggart really put my mind at ease, I really trust her and felt completely safe in her care.

Dr. Taggart is my OB. She is wonderful. I highly recommend her. She is great at easing your mind and is dedicated to her patients. The staff at her office are wonderful as well. Good Luck!

I have had Dr. Taggart as my ob for over 5 years and love her. She is friendly and seems genuinely concerned about her patients. There are 2 other doctors in her office, but she tries very hard to deliver all of her patients. The only time I saw another doctor was when she was going on maternity leave. She has a set of twins that were delivered by one of the other doctors in her office.

The nurses are very friendly and actually remember your name. I would highly recommend her!!

If you have to see a specialist, she will probably refer you to Dr. Bonebreak. He is also wonderful. Very funny, friendly, puts you at ease.

Good luck!!

Dr. Flemming delivered my daughter 3 years ago. I continue to see her now for my yearly exam and pap. I really like her and had no problem with the nursing staff. They were wonderful as well.

My doctor is Dr. Robert Bossert. He is in the group Kolbeck, Nabity, Bossert and Simmons. They have offices at Lakeside (West Omaha) and at Immanuel (around 72nd and Ames, I think??)He is with the Alegent Healthcare System, but I just love him and that whole group to pieces! The nurses are wonderful and Dr. Nabity ended up delivering my son. They all work together for all of their patients and I would go to any one of them in that group.
If you don't find someone to work with at Creighton, I urge you to go to them. Dr. Bossert & Co are very caring and make you feel like you are their favorite patient!

I am not sure if you need a normal OB or if it needs to be a high risk doctor since you are having twins, but if it is a normal one you are needing you HAVE to go to Dr. Robert Bossert!!! He is WONDERFUL!! I have referred a ton of my friends and family to him and everyone has nothing but good things to say. His bed side manner far exceeds any doctor I have ever been to and he genuinely cares about his patients. He has an office at Lakeside and also Immanuel. Good luck!

I've not seen any drs at/affiliated with Creighton, my OB is through Methodist, but I've heard Taggart is good.
