Hello moms. The daycare owners of my son's school just had their 3rd baby girl a couple of weeks ago. I want to buy them a gift, but I'd like to get something to serve their entire family and not just for the new baby. They have already received a ton of gifts from everyone, and I'm sure they are mostly baby gifts. What can I get them that will be usable by all of them. Their other 2 daughters are I believe 5 and 7, or close to those ages. They are really nice people, and I'd really like to get them something special and unique that will stand out. Thank you for your advice

I know it is a little late in the season, but a membership to the zoo or the museum would be a great gift for the whole family.

Hi P. --

What about an edible arrangement. I recently recieved one and have now sent several. I love them and I love that they're never the wrong color/size/style.

Best of health,
S.

I would second the family museum membership. We have one and LOVE going as a family- especially on a rainy or snowy day. The MidHudson Children's Museum has plenty to keep kids busy and the membership was under $100 for the year and included guest passes.

When my friend had her third child (and when another had surgery) we put together a dinner schedule. It didn't cost a lot, but it was her favorite gift! For the two months after Maya was born, we "signed up" to take dinner over and visit with the worn-out mommy two nights a week. The way this worked was we had a calendar and anyone who was intested signed-up for a day. You brought over some kind of dinner (complete) for that night and something she could put into the freezer for another night. The family had dinner two nights per week for two months and then 8-10 meals ready to go!
