Need Trustworthy Podiatrist in Plano/Dallas Area

I'm having some feet problems - not bunions- and am scared to death iIm going to end up with some flakey/scam artist who won't know what to do or will just push expensive shoes, shots or surgery. I've been having arch pain, heel pain and pain between toes, but Im not sure that it's not all due to a muscular imbalance and could be treated with physical therapy and muscle strengthening exercies. Can anyone recommend a Podiatrist who I can trust? I would actually prefer a woman, but am open to either. Thank you

What can I do next?

I have used a female podiatrist at Frisco Centennial Medical Center (121 & Coit) for my son and for me. She is thorough, well respected and practical. Her name is Dr. Mojdan Tavakoli. She and her husband, Dr. Horst Knapp, have an office in the medical building next to the hospital. Her web page: http://www.dfwfoot.com/bio_1.html

I went to Foot Solutions for arch pain several months ago and was happy with the service and products. They are on Preston in Plano:

But I recommend NOT going to "Ideal Feet" on Parker Rd. Nothing but bad experiences there and I am not the only one saying so.

I agree with earlier post. Jill Wisdom in Plano is the best.

I see Dr. Jill Wisdom (Premier Food and Ankle) and really like her. She has an office in Plano and McKinney.

I would make the drive down to UTSW an George Liu, DPM ###-###-####. He is excellent and is a teaching professor down there so he is up on the latest treatments, etc. He is conservative and consults with the Orthopedic group down there.
